You have lost me as a customer if I can find same product elsewhere. Your shipping has gone from in my opinion the best in the business to flat pathetic. Packages used to ship same or next day. Now the orders sit at your facility for 2-3 days before even going out. Then when they do its 5-7 days worth of shipping by ups to handover to usps. Hope the savings is worth the loss of customers. I know for fact I am not the only one. I would prefer paying a bit more for it to go back the way it was. Maybe a option that is above the generic shipping?

I have a package that shipped on the 6th, it is now the 13th and it is still 200 miles away. Not scheduled for delivery until next Monday the 19th.
Needless to say I'm not happy with my "free shipping". I'll not be renewing my Edge Loyalty Program again. |

For what it's worth, I ordered some springs and a Knights RAS, and it was in my possession way faster than expected. Shipping was fine. |

Believe it or not my package arrived today, two freaking weeks.
I also got a back ordered package today that shipped a week and a half after the first one. What bothered me the most about the whole ordeal was the "give a shit" attitude I got from customer service. They just didn't care that a package sat in one location for over a week. I'm still pissed over the lack of concern on their part. |

Unfortunately, Brownell's shipping is really just horrible. I've basically reduced my ordering from them - really only order when I can grab $150 worth of items and use the free shipping code, then choose 2nd day air - the code reduces the 2nd day price down to something reasonable, and I don't have to wait 7-10 days for stuff.
Thing is, Brownell's should be able to negotiate crazy low prices via UPS with the volume they must ship out - not sure why they don't pursue that... must be more to it. Heck even USPS Pri Mail Flat Rate would be as cheap and max 3 days. But this surepost crap and the like shipping that companies are using now is nuts...save a $1, double the ship time. Just ridiculous. |

When you ship a standard glock night sight in a 6x10 box by the sure post crap vs. a small padded mailer by priority mail you deserve the crown of worst shipping. Unbelievable the waste.

Reading some of these last weekend made me really hesitate to place an order however I placed one Sunday since you all had all the small pieces I wanted in stock, and the best price I could find for the stock, and free shipping over $150. I thought for certain the free shipping would result in the longest wait. However to my excitment I got a ups notice on Monday, and it arrived today safe and sound.

I'm about to place a $150 order so hopefully it doesn't take forever. I used to buy a TON of stuff from Brownells but quit a while back when shipping turned to shit. Fingers crossed.

I placed an order Oct 14th, it shipped the 15th, and I received it the 17th. From IA to MI... Not bad.
The only time I have ever had a hangup, was when I ordered several items, with one being backordered. |

ordered a magazine release button and extractor pin, and it arrived a day earlier than expected.
i've had problems about forgetting my order, but my past few experiences have been good |

Ordered last Sat 10/24, shipped Tuesday 10/27. Should be here Friday, hard to complain about that.

I've noticed very slow shipping also 5+ days. The problem is surepost ,the UPS to USPS delivery system. It is flat out terrible. UPS often has the package to the east coast in two to three days then the post office for whatever reason has to hold it for two days or longer (if its the weekend) before it is delivered. I don't know how Amazon does their shipping model but it may be worth looking at. Amazon Prime 2 day shipping is impressive.

I recently ordered 30,000 primers and the dopes in shipping sent it in 6 different boxes. I normally order primers 50K at a time and everyone else in the industry sends them in one box. You guys sent 6 boxes. What in the world was that all about?
In 40 years of reloading never seen that before. |

Because of local problems with theft I have been upgrading my edge shipping to standard shipping on UPS's web site and picking my boxes up at the UPS local hub. I get it faster that way even if it is delivered to the house. What I do not understand is why it is only $3.50 for me to do it on the UPS site but more to do it on Brownells site?
There is two methods one called Surepost and the other Mail Innovations. One of the two methods can not be upgraded at all you just have to wait. |

This Christmas , I will be buying a Nightforce Competition Scope for F Class and I will buy it from a Brownells competitor because of the shipping issue. My last order was placed on the night of Thur 2 July. I figured it wouldn't be processed til the following Mon due the holiday. I was right. Then it shipped on Tues and arrived at the local UPS on Fri but I didn't place hands on til the following Mon due to the whole UPS to USPS switch over. As much as I hated them in the past, I think Fed Ex is the best right now. At least with them I can have it shipped to the local 24 hour Fed Ex and held til I can pick it up. |

I finally just bought the edge program (which, may be what Brownells wants everyone to do anyway). $5 more for 2nd day air is a decent deal over SurePost.

Got to give them credit for owning the problem and trying to right this thing. I've ordered a lot of things from them over the years and have had no problems, always happy to help when I call, total professionals. That being said I have not had need of anything for about 11 months now so I avoided their move problems. I say give them a chance to make it right. They've been providing great service for a long time, I have faith they will get back to that.
