Nobody in the industry has a better RETURN Policy.
Have only returned 3 times in past 25yrs, twice in last 10 weeks. Took 3wks plus a few days to get the return even looked at.
2nd return was funded by check, first to credit card. Didn't really appreciate the extra 8 days transit time and need to go to the bank...
But, stuff I never used, or did use and didn't like; Brownells takes it back and pays me in money... Nobody else will do that.
You'd be crazy to buy anywhere else.
I returned 3 items to LaRue Tactical, their #101 QD risers. Owned 3 of them. Found the risers positioned my scopes 20moa right of bore centerline compared to scopes mounted on AR pic rail in regular rings..Called LaRue. Young tech guy said "you're golden, we'll take care of it. If nothing else give you a refund." After a month, got the 101 QD risers back. Not fixed, not refunded. Had similar problem with 7 sets of Leupold QR bases and 8 sets of rings. No hassle w/Leupold. They allowed me Full Credit for other mdse, even though I didn't have proof of purchase and some of the goods had been discontinued. I will NEVER Buy another LaRue product, and the guy here with the Big Mouth and obnoxious attitude does them no favors. But many love anything they put their name on. They must know their customers...
Bought a complete Colt Upper from Midway recently. Not only was the merchandise not as shown in the website pic, they shipped the item in the Blue Colt Box merely slapping a label on the box and couple small pieces of tape along the long opening edge of the box. Was a MIRACLE the gear ever arrived. Brownells never shipped me any mdse not inside a separate covering box, even if a large item like an H-S Precision rifle stock.
All these damn companies are up to their neck in silver and most don't care about the gold (customers and service).
Brownell's about 100x better than most, and Leupold stands by their product and also treats customers right.
Can't wait a day or two to get a shipping confirmation? Think that is expecting too much.
I am about to sue McMillan Fiberglass Stocks. 3 defective, substandard quality rifle stocks in a row. The company cannot even inlet a stock for a standard Win 70 action and sporter barrel contour with any competence. Then they are arrogant and ugly if you object to being stuck with their 3rd Quality product.
Customer Service means different things to different business owners.
If haven't noticed, everyone in the USA is buying gun gear. Takes a bit longer to get your stuff. I am usually just happy if what I need is in stock and arrives in usable condition. More and more chiselers and fraudsters out there these days. Brownells Remains Very Reliable and The Best In The Business.
