i dont think brownells fixed anything. a co-worker who was one who recieved his 10 pack of gen2 non window mid january after ordering 1/7 also just recieved shipping notification on an individual gen 2 windowed also ordered early jan. wow!! seems if you were late ordering they took care of you. my 12/24 (now 12/26) orders have not moved. and yes we ordered identical mags. im hoping my dsg order from 1/19 ships soon. its hard to believe a company as large as brownells dropped the ball so bad. not just once but over and over. wow. its not the end of the world.its just mags and i have other orders spread around but there are becoming fewer and fewer reliable companies to deal with.

Talked to Brownells today about order placed on 12/20/12 #08235xxx 10 magpul g2 30rd black non window and 10 g3 30rd black with window. They were sorry my order was skipped and I might get the G2 mags in March and no date on G3. I am very disappointed with the way they have handled this mess I had plenty of chances to buy from other places but because I had faith in Brownells I didn't. I hope Brownells reads these posts. Once this mess clears up I wont forget

1-800-741-0015. from my verizon cell I called and it shows as number changed or disconnected and no longer in service. any one else try recently? got thru at 4 32

I'm not sure what is going on...I thought they had worked out the computer glitch but my Pmag order that showed back-ordered this morning, now shows cancelled / unable to fulfill. It's pretty hard to say anything good about how Brownell's has handled anything in the last 10 days or so. I was fine with the wait as long as I knew they were coming at some point but if they are truly cancelled, I am done with Brownell's. By the way, I was one of the people who ordered early and got passed over.

Brownells is lying about shipping magazines. On 2/4/2013, status on my order from 12/18/2013 changed to "shipped" and my card was charged. A week later I called and was told that my order had not shipped, but the magazines had been "allocated" for shipment to me.

My order shows the same thing as above, but you can sort with the status toolbar.

If you change the status to the type of order you want to search and then hit the ..''search my order history'' it will list out the orders with that status.

I have a 12-20 confirm date. I called yesterday and my order was still just sitting in backorder status. I told her I called just to make sure it wasn't in notify status she said she would do me the favor of putting a note on the order to keep in backorder until fulfilled. She didn't give me a time frame for them shipping the mags.

They already have our credit card info she told me when you get moved to notify it means you get notified and the you call to order. when I ordered I knew it was backordered and called once a month to check in and make sure it was still on backorder. last time I called everything was fine and the backorder was still good. this time its been changed to notify. I told them I would never be back and cancel everyorder I had open and Im now in the process of boxing up half the shit I bought from them to send it back for the 100% promise they made, you know if your not 100% happy with your purchase just send it back for a full refund. lots of stuff heading their way soon. screw them. |

Here is what I found from a Brownell's post from last year... I assume this may be what is happening to some of your orders. This policy seems very reasonable and frankly quite standard. Hope this helps.
Here is a little clarification on the Brownells backorder policy.
When an order is past 60 days on backorder, and the manufacturer cannot supply us with a specific date of arrival, all orders are then placed on "preferred notify" status. This does not mean that the order was cancelled, just that we cannot legally charge any customer after 60 days without their permission. "Preferred notify" orders are sent a notification by email when the factory is unable to supply (likely what everyone received in this thread). Customers placed on "preferred notify" status are at the top of the list when inventory is eventually received. Customers will not lose their discounts offered at the time of the order, the price was locked in. Once inventory is received, the customer will be notified via email. At which point, the customer will have 7 days to respond to the email or call to confirm that the order can be processed. Well, my Brownell's drama has finally come to a close.
Placed order 12/19, got confirmation 12/20 Ordered a 10 pack of G2 non-window, black. Got shipping notice with tracking number 2/12 Order arrived today, 2/15 Order number 08232xxx Good luck to all! Hopefully, no hi cap ban happens, you all get your magazines, and the anti-gunners can eat crow. A population with 80 million semi-autos and a billion high-cap magazines will not be oppressed. |

May be but perhaps they should school their reps on their own policy because I raised hell for 15 minutes and still was told when it arrives you will get an email. the item is not held for you and will be sold first come first serve and if I miss the boat I would be notified next time it became available. total bs. no communication about any status change.

Just got the shipping notification Wednesday on the ten pack of gray CS USGI mags (078-000-166WB) I ordered on 12/26. They should be here Tuesday.
I'm still waiting for the ten pack of tactical USGI mags (080-000-989WB) ordered on 1/7. I have faith in Brownells, they'll get here eventually. |

So how many of you guys ordered gen 2 pmags and received moe pmags, without the dust caps, instead? My first order was in stock when I placed it and I received gen2 mags with dust caps. My second order was placed after they became backordered. When I finally got them two months later, I got moe mags with no dust caps. Wtf. Anyone else get this and talk to brownells about it?

ETA: I ordered gen 2, as advertised, not moe. Therefore, I have been shorted dust caps. If I can keep up with changes to Magpuls current offerings, I think a company as large as brownells should be able to as well. Return them to Brownells for a full refund and then go buy some Gen 2 mags with dust caps somewhere else. ETA: If the package is unopened then you can simply write "refused" on the box and bring it to the PO... no return shipping costs. |

Still waiting, no shipping e-mail received as of today, 02/17/13. On a side note, I have received two orders of Gen 3 Pmags w/window from DSG ARMS within the last 2-3 weeks. I have another order of Gen 3 Pmags w/window right now with DSG ARMS. |

The manufacturer made a change to the product line, that is beyond the control of the retailer. Mapgul made an in-line manufacturing change and clearly stated when old stock was gone, there would be no more. Bitching because you thought somehow one retailer would magically be able to get an older product when everyone else is getting the updated product is retarded. |
