Marshall, are we weeks out or months? I'd like to know this as well. I'm torn between waiting for this one and picking up the MD-RBGII. Not sure if you want to wait. During the last test we had leaks through the push buttons diring water proof tests. I will be at the factory next week and we will look at how to prevent this. We will get there and this will be a killer optic when we are finished. I just don;t know when we will have them |

Yeah you guys are a pleasure to do business with. I wasn't trying to give you a hard time about updates; much better knowing that y'all invest a lot into ensuring good product delivery. At this point y'all's reputability is through the roof with me as well as almost every other board posting I've read, which I is why I just made the switch from Aimpoint/Trijicon. Just ordered an RGBIII, and I don't think it'll be my last purchase from y'all either.

Will the MD-ADS have the motion sensor and 50K battery life? You said sub $200, so I'm thinking it might be a ruggedized Holosun-like sight.
I like the idea of these new motion sensor red dots, to save on battery but not have to mess with to turn them on. Any suggestions how to get the Reflex minidot up to 1/3rd cowitness? I may just go with one of those for awhile. |
|
[#11]
I don't think the MD-AD will have motion detection. It wouldn't make sense. The Holosun only has it because it has auto off. The MD-AD will not have the auto shut down.

I see the new MD-ADS is at least listed with email notification active. I signed up. :)
I am cursed by murphy's law though. When I have the money it is not there and when I am broke it will be available, that is what has happened twice now with the MD-RBGII. Hoping the MDS is coming end of the month like next Tuesday. Too bad you dont have pre-order as I would gladly pay for a hamburger on Tuesday to get on a Friday. :) |

Will the MD-ADS provide absolute cowitness with a LT660HK mount like the MD-06 did?

Will the MD-ADS provide absolute cowitness with a LT660HK mount like the MD-06 did? View Quote The MD06 used Aimpoint mounts, but really sat a bit taller (so a absolute cowitness mount would provide a lower 1/3). I believe the new ADS will be the same as Aimpoint, so an LT660HK will probably sit too low and give you an upper 1/3rd cowitness. |

No. The ADS will give the stated cowitess of the mount. If you want absolute with a LaRue mount you get the LT751 View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Does this one have auto-off and/or the motion sensitive sleep?
Or is it a constant on similar to an aimpoint? Eta: reading is my friend I must've missed marsh's post on pg 3 but I saw it now so looks like my wallet will get a little thinner now |

View Quote I got mine as well. Yeah! Just right set of circumstances. clicked on my saved link at work showed and it was in stock, added one to the cart and checked out, got my confirmation email I had one ordered. A little upset I had not seen an email yet notifying me they were in. Then about 10 minutes later got the; "Your item you want is in stock." Glad I was randomly checking the actual product on page. Although they still show as being in stock. |

I don't understand this sight. How is this 5 times cheaper than the aimpoint micro T-2?
I don't mean to be sarcastic. I guess a better question would be "why would anyone spend 5x the money on a T-2 now?" -Jacob |

Marshall, How does THIS version compare to a T-1 in your opinion? I've got a MD-06 and my understanding is that its not concidered a "duty" optic. Closer but still not built with the level of components quality and manufacturing that you get with Aimpoint. I can't wait to get my hands on a T-2 |
