still, using the 600 mark puts you dead on at 588? A 12 yard difference seems negligible.

I used strelok out in the desert once and it had calculated way more drop than we actually needed at 400yards. I had estimated muzzle velocity so I wasnt sure if it was me or the program. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Is there by chance a few of the 4-14x ACSS sneaking through customs? |

Hey Dimitri, we had some conversations early on when I got the scope and I just came back here to give you an update. First I took your advice and took the slight crimp out of my 77gr reloads. Just been working on the load and settled with one. This is only at 300 yards but I’m real happy with the scope as this all I am really looking for. Slightly breezy day , prone shooting off the bipod….77gr Nosler CC, AR-Comp, LC case, CCI 400 AV 2668 fps I shot the first 5, went up a click after I looked through the spotting scope and shot the remaining 8. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f60/oli700/2a/IMG_0275_zpsc02c6b46.jpg Did some night shooting 50-100, the illumination is awesome, the adjustments offer a nice choice in brightness’s and its easy to find “just right”. I NEVER use the illumination when there is enough light to see the reticle. Although I can see 11 in daytime shooting, the black unlit reticle is far superior in every way IMO I also did some 5-10 yard shooting and man I need to remember to hold like 4 inches high lol, good for 10 inch targets but shooting clays set up at 10 yards I …..I got pissed a couple times lol. Been spending so much time at 3-500 I need to shift gears a little for up close, especially going from a red dot sighted to 50, to this…..it’s the only time I ever thought something offset could come in handy Anyway thanks for the conversation, table and good service! http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f60/oli700/2a/imagejpg1_zps0c58f669.jpg View Quote Nice group! Is the 1-6x ACSS comfortable to shoot at 1x with both eyes open?
It it a true 1x? Or 1.2? 1.4? Etc.? |

Got to use mine at BattleroadUSA's zombie biathlon. Worked great despite dropping the damn rifle multiple times.

I have no doubt..it's a great scope at a great price. It's one of those product Grand Slams, that happens every once in a while with companies. And the cool thing, PA's has several Grand Slam's.
I'm tempted to buy one, just so I can photograph it, then sell it when I'm done. But, I don't want to get caught short when the 4-14x comes back. It's happened to me once already. Quoted:

I've been thinking of buying one but the Bobro extended mounts are out of stock.

Since I can't do concert work any more, because of my illness (www.jimcorso.com). I have to reinvent myself again. So, I'm building a gallery of high quality photos, of all the stuff I've done to my firearms. Complete guns, optics, sights, triggers, etc. Then, at some point, I'll create a photo review blog. I currently have enough to keep me busy for a little while. But, I'm dependent on what I can buy. Figure if I get good enough at it, like I did with my concert stuff. I'll be able to get samples directly from manufactures, to work with.

Mine just showed up on the doorstep. Got it mounted up. Looks great. I'll let you all know how it goes when I make it out to the range with it. Thanks guys for the great product and price. The eye relief is great, the illumination seems to be daylight bright. I will say the eye focus ring seems to rotate a bit too easily but it takes a lot of turn to make it out of focus, at least for me. All in all, great scope and glad I bought it.

Got mine yesterday. Real busy right now, might be a week before I can mount it on my SIG 716. Looks real nice though.
Thanks, guys! Can't wait to try it out.

Got mine mounted and ready to go. Overall I'm pleased with it. I did order the low mount scope rings which are too low. The zoom focus ring rubs on top of the rail and won't rotate to 1x or 2x. I'll have to get another mount but in the mean time I plan on shooting it tomorrow.
