any update on this? Testing going on as we speak. Looks like they got it right this time. If it passes and we give the OK for production 67-75 days |

I'm not going to lie, I've not looked at every page of this thread. I've followed it on and off but have not really kept up.
Will this thing have a 30mm tube or a 1 inch tube. Because I pray it's 30mm to accommodate the ADM mounts that I already own. |

Was the prototype correct? Yes. ETA is 45 days!!! CANNOT WAIT!!!! I've been looking forward to this scope and the Bushnell 1-4x for months now. One for my Tavor, one for my 5.45x39 AR-15. |

I think I discovered a problem. Those dots on the right and left are calibrated for a target running at 8.6 mph at 100-200 yards.... to me that seems like a target you would likely encounter on 1x, and with a SFP scope, the proportions will be all off. So, is there some sort of lucky coincidence where the horse shoe at 1x is the right angular measurment for a 8.6 mph moving taget at 100-200 yards? Or at least close?

Will a "cat-tail" be useable or available? I have not sourced one. I think we are just going to buy a 3D printer and make our own. |

Marshall,
I am in no way an operator, just casual shooter who likes to take some training a couple times a year. That being said, I love the Mueller SpeedShot because the dot is SUPER bright. Truly daylight bright versus others I've looked at. Anyways, would you say the reticle on the 1-6x is daylight bright, enough so for running daylight, quick acquisition drills? Love the idea of being able to run the close in drills and then reach out beyond 100 yards with the same optic. Thanks!! MP |
|
That's a nice looking scope. Just what my 74 needs. |
|
I'm REALLY digging the illumination controls! That's one ckean looking optic.

I hope you guys offer this without a mount. I would hate to spend money on a mount that I probably wont use. BTW great pic Oleg.

What's everyone's guess on price? Sub $500? My hope is sub $300 but I realize that's not likely...or is it? LOL

My guess would be around 300, and I don't think sub 300 without a mount is out of the question. Their 6x is only 180 and their 1-4x is only 120. Put my bet down at 279.99. |

Sweet, from my limited understanding it seems like building a 1-6x is a lot more difficult than a 1-4x, thus the increase in price. I'm excited either way! I love my 1-4x but I would really rather have a 1-6x for 3Gun (and I'm not interested in dropping $2500 on a Swaro at this time). |

Good reticule design deserves good glass. Hopefully there's a $600+ version available in the future. Maybe source the mid-priced model with the manufacturer who makes the Trijicon Accupoint.

is the body shorter than the 1-4? Want to know also as it sure looks like it. If so, I'm in for the first batch! |

If it is I would have to consider the Burris and Bushnell 1-4 scopes instead. I think the most expensive Primary Arms scope is currently $229. I think that would be about fair for the 1-6. |
|
I like the reticle, but if you have an autoranging reticle why the stadia ranger right next to it?
|
|
Which scope has been clearer in the tests? The fixed 4x, or the 1-6x? I keep flipping on which I want to buy.
|
|
Had my eyes on a Burris MTAC but after reading this thread I decided to get this instead. I'm placing my order as soon as it hits the website.
|
|
Only 2 questions left for me:
1. How much does it weigh? 2. Is the reticle illumination daylight visible? . . . . love the reticle design. |
|
Marsh.
Can you provide if possible: - weight - length - 30mm tube? - price range? I'm debating on this or an Aimpoint Pro, and need to know where to spend my money (both would be with you of course). |

The sample is out in CA for testing so I can;t get the other info until it gets back. Price is not firm but $250-300 range |

If it's a true 1x, I am totally in and am going to talk to my buddies also. How many will you be getting in?: Is it going to be like getting one of your red dots? |
