I am compiling a list of mounting combinations that will detail what mounts and optics/magnifiers will work on various platforms. If you have something other than an AR15 and have achieve a co-witness of any feel free to list it and I'll get it added to the chart.

If anyone knows how to insert an excel spread sheet, I am all ears!

Thanks in advance,

Micro Dots

Our removable base Micro Dots sit a little higher than a Aimpoint T-1 or H-1 so the cowithess is not the same. We recommend a absolute cowitness mount. It give you a nice clear high lower 1/3 cowitness.

Our removable base Micro Dots on a VLTOR's CASV handguard system. Use the ADM AD-T1L it will put the dot 1" above the top plane of the rail.

For Troy Micro sights use the ADM AD-T1-CAS-V for absolute CW

If you want absolute cowitness with removable base Micro Dots the LaRue LT660HK works great.

LT755-30T (Tall)Raised Base EotechMagnifier MountCowitness/Height

LT755-30S (short) Magnifier MountCowitness

RRA Tactical Carry handle will CW with the fixed base Micro only

SIG 556/552ADT1L Removable Base MicrodotMicro Dot Mount.96 Inch/23.66MM.96 Inch/23.66MM

Aimpoint T1/H1 - the dot sits at .70" above the top plane of the rail
Primary Arms Fixed Base Microdot - the dot sits at .60" above the top plane of the rail
Fixed base microdot cowitnesses w/Hi Point carbine

4-14X FFP

Will fit in the Burris PEPR mount

Here is a fixed base Micro on our basic Gooseneck. The irons are just below center so the cowitness is great. The channel of the mount does block much of the sight windoe but with both eyes open it works pretty well. Not sure what mount in pictured in the thread.

Anyone know what mount I should use?

I have a flat top AR and am planning on using MBUS, I just want it to work.
Should I get the PA riser or the ADT riser?(is the PA durable?)

Kel-Tec Sub-2000 w/ KT quad rail using PA Microdot w/ PA QD riser: lower 1/3 cowitness. (Getting the quad rail on without ANY canting is tricky, though!)

Beretta U22 Neos using PA Green Dot: works, no co-witness.

I'd suggest that you use Google Docs for the spreadsheet.

Does the removable base MicroDot work with the Aimpoint Micro Mount kit (part #12464) for a Ruger MKIII?

Yes. Post a pic when you get it mounted up.

For anyone trying to get a magnifier behind the fixed base micro dot on an AK-47 rail like a dog-leg, the MD-07 with a 1/2" riser matches up just about perfect with a magnifier in the medium scope ring. It's still lifted a bit tall than normal for an AK, but it's a low as I can seem to get the setup. Definitely get the 3x LER magnifier for the setup though to avoid unpleasant black eyes .

the non-removeable base microdot will co-witness with Tech sights on a 10-22 if you use the front scope base holes for a piece of mount.

I usually look over the top of the sights to use the dot, but can shift down and look through the irons if it's necessary

This is a sight from another company that is very similar to PA's fixed base micro, on a half inch riser on my 556 Classic with factory diopters. The PA should not be any different as the body and mount of the sights are equivalent dimensionally. Wanted a PA but impatience got to me.

FALs are tough. I don't know of anything low enough to CW. Our 30 MM red dots in our medium ring works great on the Sig.
