Is there any reason why I couldn't use one of these to mount onto an AK? I'm thinking the ZFH1500 could mount onto the barrel, or the ZSM could mount between the gas tube and barrel.

The Elzetta ZFH1500 fits on the A2 front sight base of an AR15/M16/M4. It does not attach to the barrel.
The geometry of an AK's barrel and gas tube is very different from a shotgun. The ZSM will not fit an AK. |
