That should work. The body of the polytac is shaped like a barbell (large at both ends and small in the middle) which makes removing it from mounts a little more difficult than other lights. (Notice that the tailcaps on Elzetta ZFL-M60 Lights, designed to be weapon-mounted, are tapered to factilitate rapid installation & removal from mounts.)
