Can you please tell me what type of a barrel is in this? Brand? Accuracy that can be expected? Thanks in advance. 9080

The barrel is 4140 1:9 twist from Mossberg. These are the same barrels that we have been using for a while now, the only difference is they are no longer Nitride treated.

Thanks for looking!

I just picked one up to use with a spare Smith and Wesson M&P-15 lower I had laying around. Curious to see how well it preforms for the price.

How is the current shipping going? Any holiday or inventory delays?

Right now it takes 1-2 days after ordering for items in stock to ship.

I got mine in last week and have already fired about 80 rounds without a hiccup. It also was amazingly accurate right out of the box. I can't wait to see how much better it will get as the barrel breaks in. I am highly impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget upper.

Right now the only alternate caliber plan is the .300 Blackout we are currently advertising in the EE.

Placed an order for a DSA ZM4 A3 Upper on Jan 13, 2013. Received an email from customer service that this was on back order. Any idea about a time frame for delivery? I have heard rumors of long wait times from DSA. I hope this is not the case for my order. Your price for this seems to be great and I hope to have it soon.

It looks as if those of us who have placed orders in the past and were told to expect a 2-3 week wait have been lied to, put on the back burner due to a larger order, or DSA has just grossly misinformed its customers. Either way I will be canceling my order and doing business with someone else.
I don't mind waiting, just don't lie to me about the wait and if something drastically changes communicate those changes. Sending e-mails is not that hard.

Not bad of a turn around. Hopefully mine comes within a month. I placed my order on Feb 4th along with stripped lower. Cant wait to get it so I can start putting it together. I have everything else just sitting in my closet waiting.

I ordered one in DEC 2011 and I called last week to see whats the delay.
I was told you are not shipping what you are advertising and you will not ship any thing for the foreseeable future.

So I'd like to know if you are shipping AR uppers or wasting time and space?

I'd like one but I'd also like to wait less then 8 weeks.

Thanks for a reply if any

Still backordered, but I will post here and bump the ads when that changes. You can order if you want, but will not be charged until they ship.

Thanks!

I see that one poster ordered Jan 12 2012? and had it on the 17?
I ordered Dec 20th or so still don't have it. (Jan 202012)

Is this normal or did that poster ordered a different upper?
I what the upper in this thread.

Also whats with having the front sight but no rear sight A lot of folks are doing that.

Doesn't make sense to me I'm a both or none for scopes kins of guy.

Front site with no rear site is quite common when purchasing uppers from most if not all online retailers. It leaves it up to the buyer to customize it the way they want and buy which ever rear site they want.

Anymore of these uppers in stock right now? I need an upper but your site doesn't show the backorders.
