This might be helpful for those of us that have been waiting months for our DSA orders to arrive...
My order placed 02-27-09: STG58, Type 2 carry handle upper receiver, everything else "standard". Latest status - should arrive in September. |

Ordered SA58 Para Carbine with type 1 receiver, NCHC, 18" barrel and speed trigger about mid Nov 08 and it arrived mid Feb 09 or so. Told the little woman that I was buying a $2k gun (problem #1) but I'd have at least 6 months to save and then it arrives way early (problem #2). She is still pissed.
Was it worth it? Hell Yes!  |

I'm getting a little worried that my build sheet has fallen through the cracks.
A friend ordered a VERY similar rifle to mine (just a different barrel length) a month AFTER I placed my order. His CC was charged last week and his rifle should be arriving soon. I spoke with a representative for the last time about mine. He told me that DSA has no system to keep track of rifle orders and can't really provide an estimated time of arrival. I find this a bit surprising. He said that my rifle should arrive this year, but he has know idea when. |

Well, my order for three AR flattop uppers (no M4 cuts) was placed in early Dec. 08. Gals said they should be here by Christmas. Called again this spring....uppers still in the warehouse...."we'll get to them". Must be at the bottom of a big pile.

We have discounitued A3 non ramped uppers but we offered M4 uppers to customers at the same price.

Just got my STG... only took 10 months
I've VERY pleased with my rifle... but the wait time sucked. They originally told me 3 months.

Wish I would have checked here first. Just ordered one of their uppers. I know of some other places that have them in stock and would have gotten it in a week or less. Just picked these guys to try them out. Looks like I'll be in for a wait...

I ordered a parkerized upper on the 9th and was told it was shipping on the 15th. I still have no e-mail confirmation but my card has been charged.

Ordered a ZM-4 upper on monday, the 2nd, and UPS will be dropping it off tomorrow, the 6th. Loaded 210rds last night to take to the range and run thru it on Saturday.

I ordered one of those zm4 (?) ar15 uppers on 10/23/09 and just got an email stating that I have been charged and it is being shipped. This is as of 11/5/09.
 I can't wait.... I was definitely expecting to have to wait at least a few more weeks, hence why I haven't bolt a bcg! |

I ordered 2 zm4 uppers on 9/21/09. I just got off the phone with DSA and have been told it will be 1-3 more weeks.

I just got mine today it was a 275 dollar one. It took 10 days I am very happy with it.

I called today for status check, all I found was a answering machine. I left a message, never got a return call back.... I sure hope this upper is worth the wait.

Ordered my upper on Oct 12 said it would ship in a week... hated to bother them, i know there busy, called three weeks ago to check on it they said something got messed up and it would ship that day, got a tracking number, 2 weeks ago i called said it hadnt showed up and they said the next day it would go out...., last week i called again they told me that if it wasnt going to ship that week they would call me. No charge on the cc as of wednesday this week. The deal is i would like this upper, i dont need it, but would like it. If they would just say it is going to be january before you have it thats cool, not a problem, i wouldnt call and waist my time and theres. Theres my rant, everyone i talk to says these are great uppers and for the price they are selling them for you cant go wrong. If i could get my hands on one of them i would order 2 more

Please call and talk to Nicole if you have an order older that Nov 1st, there has to be a software issue because the hard copies show us into Nov on backorders.

I called DSA a few days ago and the young lady on the phone said it would be about Dec 18th for orders from Dec 4th to ship. Is this still accurate if orders from November are still on back order?
