Had an issue with my beloved Blonde wood PSAK. The pin holding the piston to the carrier was slowly walking out. Made it about 1/8" before stopping itself, but you know how that goes. I call up PSA, wait the customary 43 minutes, and they tell me I need to send the rifle in.
After waiting a few weeks, (they were still processing a separate return that took forever, and I didn't want to have everything I own being tied up with PSA), I sent it in. Sent on the 7th. Arrived on the 9th. Back at my place, fixed on the 16th. I was quoted a three week turnaround time, so I'm very pleased by how quickly they were able to fix this thing. Seems like they tossed out the old pin, and replaced it with a roll pin, I can see right through this one, and there's no play in it.
On top of that, they threw in a nicer box than the one I had used to send this in, and they threw in two AK PMags. They didn't have to do that, but they did. Just as the title says, credit where it's due. I'm not one to typically sing PSA's praises, but I will be this time. They handled my repair very well.
Not that this thread helps anyone, just wanted to share my experience.
