We can only guarantee that our rails will work with our uppers. Unfortunately there is no "standard" in the AR10 platform. That is why we are listening to our customers. In the next two weeks we will be putting our AR10 rails for sale on the website! Thank you, Josiah |

after reading a description of their completed pa10 lowers being sold, it appears the buffer installed on the completed lowers is a standard ar15 carbine buffer in H3 weight, at least that's the description in that item
http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-gen2-pa10-308-complete-classic-lower-receiver-77932912.html shows "Standard Heavy Carbine Buffer" Which sounds like it would be this item on their website if it is the same as this http://palmettostatearmory.com/palmetto-state-armory-h3-carbine-buffer.html Described as "This high quality heavy buffer will make your rifle run better with less recoil and noise. Machined billet aluminum with a black hard coat anodized finish makes this one of the best H3 buffers on the market. Weight: 5.4oz" |

Josiah was responsive to my request, and should be sending the proper buffer tube assembly that they are using on the completed lowers and complete rifles. More than he needed to do, but it is likely the surest way to resolve the problem.
I did suggest they include in the description of the PA10 stripped lowers, a list of the parts and SKU numbers required to complete the lower build, as it is a proprietary design, and a confusing mess for someone trying to figure it out. |

Probably been asked before but the PA-65 and PA-10 will both use 308 and 6.5 uppers?
Will either accept other companies 308 or 6.5 uppers? |

100 yards
with $10 red dot, which failed, but was enough to get it out there and function test, now the game is on for raising cash for a scope that will end up costing more than the gun. Looking for something 40x or higher power, first focal plane, with mil dot reticle. |

I've got a basic 18" upper with the fixed front sight, considering getting it sent off and chopped to either 16" or 14.5" and doing a pin and weld. Leaning towards the 14.5 pin and weld. Any issue going that route?

Does anyone know if the Phase 5 Tactical Extended Bolt Release V2 for .308 AR will work on the PA-10 gen 2 ?
I really like my B.A.D. levers on my ar-15s and would really enjoy having an option that worked on the PSA AR10 gen 2 rifle... Any feedback out there? I am asking because I know PSA states their bolt catch is proprietary on the PA10 |

I have a Gen 1 PA10 upper that shoots really well but I think has a minimum headspace or tight chamber issue. When trying to eject a live round, I almost have to mortar the rifle to clear it. Anyone else had this problem?

I have run about 350 rounds of 7.62x51 nato ammo and around 40 rounds of .308 winchester through mine as of today, so far not a single problem. Feeds, fires, ejects, bolt stays back on empty magazine, no marks on spent brass. Everything seems perfect now.

I just picked up my PA10 .308 Classic Lower from the crack dealer, err, gun shop. Upper came in a few days ago - 18" SS barrel, 15" MLOK handguard, mid-length gas system.
Looks like I got an short DPMS-style receiver extension, short DPMS-style 2.5" buffer, and a 29-coil buffer spring. Test fit looks good, as the BCG bottoms out on the buffer before contacting the receiver. Will probably change the buffer out to a heavier 2.5" one after test-firing. Upper included BCG with single ejector. Looks like they're just putting these together with what parts are available. |

Thanks wonder if the heavier buffer I put in it could cause the issue? I put the factory buffer back in but have not gone back to the range to test it yet.

I actually read this entire thread last weekend. What's the current state of quality on the PA-10 these days? Anything I need to look out for in current production? Ammo and/or magazine recommendations? UPS says my upper is out for delivery today. Can't wait to get it out to the range.
