Is this dry lube or bare/unfinished metal? Never shot it or even pulled the charging handle, except to remove the BCG to take these pics. All my other PSA uppers are black inside.
Brand new complete premium upper (not ptac or freedom) http://i.imgur.com/9JMIEDa.png ETA: thanks for the quick reply |

Thanks.
FYI - Both of these are listed as blems in the descriptions via this statement - "**These lowers may have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect function. This may include, but is not limited to, forging marks under the finish, scratches, slight variation in the finish color coat." |

Any ETA on when the PA10 stripped lower will be back in stock?
My concern is with the political circus... Since the upper has a proprietary fit to the lower, if we are months out before they come in stock, I may need to return this PA10 Rifle kit to make sure I can get my $$ back. Just getting nervous since the upper and lower are proprietary. |
|
|
I also had the same issue as John_wu with the keymod rail being wider than the rail on the receiver. Not a game ender but some of my accessories don't fit over the rail. I have contacted customer service and they said all I could do is return the gun for a refund. Really not what I want to do because I like the gun. I have had a couple gunsmiths try to replace the rail but no one can seem t get the barrel nut off. Can I just send it in to have it replaced?

does any other manufacturer make an upper that is compatible with the PSA A-10 lower?

Thank you for your inquiry. The PA10 lowers should be back in stock in the next 60 days.

I have the collapsible stock Gen 1 PA 10 and want to put in a stiffer buffer spring and I am looking at the Sprinco Orange. Does this description sound like it will fit? My gun is seriously over-gassed with the can on. I already have a SLR 7 to make it run better, but I need to work up my 168SMK Varget loads and also want to try 175gr SMKs.
Quoted from the Sprinco site:
"ORANGE Spring" The ONLY specifically engineered EXTRA POWER Buffer Spring for .308 Carbine Platforms using standard 7" Depth M4 extension tubes and .308 short 2.5" buffers (Including aftermarket "heavy buffers.") You cannot clip coils from any other commercially available buffer spring to yield the proper spring loads for this application, especially in heavily gassed .308 carbine platforms. We started from scratch on this design to provide Operators with a viable alternative to existing OEM and aftermarket offerings. Platforms known to exist using this approach include DPMS, Bushmaster (Post 2010), Remington, CMMG, Mega, SA Defense, Colt 901, Rock River Arms and many others. Color Coded ORANGE. |

i visited the mt pleasant store today - very very nice. they had complete pa10 lowers and a strong selection of uppers.
was planning on building a short barrel ar9 but having second thoughts. what's the different in a pistol arm support vs a standard ar 6 pos stock? they look the same to me. are we spitting hairs here ? whats the rule of thumb here? |
|
|
did some reading - so if plan to shoulder, i should stick with 16" barrel

Contact customer service directly. They can walk you through a quick check to make sure they are the right size. The pins should pass all the way through and be just proud of the other side when fully inserted. If not, we will send you the correct ones.

Hello,
I got my pa10 lower parts kit yesterday. Thank you so much, but it appears I have the same problem as the person above. My order number is: 32102114694. My pivot pin and take down pin are both small as well. Do you need a picture or can someone help me with the problem? Thanks, H Nay |

No response to several emails to cs.
I have a PA10 16" SS 308 SS15 1/10 complete upper I purchased when you first started selling them around September 2014 from your website. The rifle is built with your lower and parts kit. I have issues where the bolt strips the round off the mag but does not go into battery, it seldom chambers on its own. This is with 150gr factory Remington ammo. If I load 168 or 175 gr federal ggm ammo they have the same issue when they do go into battery they become jammed into the chamber, it is very hard to pull the charging handle back to unload the round. It looks like it actually jams the bullet deeper into the neck of the case once I get it out. All of the ammo works fine in my armalite ar10b. Some searching and I seen others had this issue also. Can I get a return label so you can resolve this issue please? |

So I snagged an upper from a private sale. Anyway, when I put in an empty mag and pull the charging handle to the rear, the bolt locks back, but when I remove the mag, the bolt drops. When I try to lock the bolt to the rear, through the manual of arms, the bolt won't stay back either. Suggestions? Thanks!
