Well, I had bin hoping to switch my LPK from my existing ar-15 over which is possible for the most part, except now i realize i need to buy a PA-10 LPK because of them having propitary parts for the PA-10 and buying them seprate at a much higher price then in a kit is silly and is kind of a killer for me. Also means i would need to stock up on any of those parts in case something broke in the future, all in all its just frustrating cause they never said anything about how pins werent the same, etc. They just said that it ran off a standard ar-15 trigger group, which thats fine and dandy, till i see not all are the same and its going to cost more then planned. I went for the cheaper rout of a PA-10, ive liked PSA, till this lower showed up in my hands and i read the facts others found out the hard way.
"Palmetto State Armory is proud to announce our new .308 stripped lower receiver.
Made using the most advanced aerospace manufacturing technology to produce the industry's finest forged .308 lowers, our receivers are machined on an automated multi-million dollar manufacturing system which enables us to produce a product of unequaled quality and value.
These forged lowers are quality made using 7075-T6 aluminum. The finish is black hardcoat anodize per MIL-8625 Type 3 Class 2. Additionally the receivers include an integrated trigger guard, and are designed to use AR15 fire control groups so your favorite AR class trigger can be used. These are developed for use with SR-25 pattern magazines - which are commonly available in metal or polymer."
Nothing about how a SAA-E wont work, how you MUST use there pins, etc....just disappointed in what i received, my fault for not doing the research i suppose and ill eat the shipping and FFL fee and hawk it on armslist so i can reinvest in a proper lower. Ill just stick to PSA for ar-15 parts in the future. My loss, someone elses gain in the end.
