First off, big thanks to PSA for their free shipping promotions. Not everything I needed was available but I still managed to make 2 orders. A few questions to PSA or anyone else who would like to chime in.

My understanding from what I have read in PSA’s site descriptions is that the regular A2 profile tapers down below the hand guards and the LW designation will have a step-down in diameter forward of the FSB. Does PSA have a medium profile/contour barrel measuring .750" under the hand guards, at the FSB, and forward of the FSB, in a 16” Mid-length gas system configuration?

Would it be this model? Or does this model exceed .750” under the hand guards?
PSA 16" Heavy Mid-length MP Upper

Also, I did a copy/paste of the following from a previous post regarding PSA barrel profiles:
“From what I can tell, (guy happened to have a medium contoured barrel on the EE today) the
medium contour looks like a Gov. profile (.750 ) under the FSB, and to the muzzle. It's under the
hand guards that Is different. While it's lighter than a HBAR, it's still heaver than the under the HG
profile (Government) that the lightweight, and Government profiles have”
No reference was made to an actual PSA model listing, and I’m assuming the “Government” is in reference to an A2 profile and “lighter/heavier” is in relation to barrel diameter. Does PSA have such a barrel profile? If yes, could you provide a link to the model?

And lastly, what is meant by the “Special A2 profile barrel designation?

Special A2 profile barrel

Thanks

That profile exceeds .750.

Special A2 profile means it differs from the Government profile slightly, but not in any way that significantly affects overall weight.
