I have your stripped upper receiver and want to order the 7.5 barrel that you guys have......

Question is, what handguards can be used with it, if a A2 sight was installed.... I would like to use plastic hanguards mil spec nut and delta ring assembly if possible.

Or do I have to use low profile gas block and a FF handguard??

I don't see any measurements given other than a .750 gas block on the web site.......

I'm looking to do a budget build on this one.... any help would be great.....

The 7.5" barrel is, by necessity, a pistol-length gas system. This is a good deal shorter than carbine length. Standard handguards will not fit. We do not carry a pistol length polymer handguard.

However, you may use either a mini-free float tube, or a 7" carbine tube. On the 7" carbine free float tubes, be sure your muzzle device does not direct muzzle blast onto the free float tube. We like to use the Troy Claymore muzzle brake for this reason.

I set my 7.5" upper up with a YHM micro GB and a YHM carbine length free float. You can not set it up with carbine hand guards. You can use the pistol lenght free float but being an adult male my hands do not fit.
