^Yea I don't understand that I ordered on the 18th and for maybe 2 days my order said processing. Since then my order has said complete so I don't get it.
FYI mine is a 14.7 carbine upper.... everything standard and NO pinned FH. |

The label is created when the upper is ordered. That is not a production update. By "finished" it means the computer can do no more with it - the order has been entered, recorded, printed, and a shipping label has been assigned. We are aware some get confused with this process. We have recently upgraded our shipping software and processes and switched non-manufactured items to print the label after they are picked and boxed. Production items are in the process of converting over to this system. We apologize for the inconvenience. |

No need to apologize, and it is not an inconvenience...I just didn't understand. Thanks again PSA. |

My upper arrived yesterday (05/03/2012) and I was pleasantly surprised because it came under the 15 business day mark. Like many of you, I anxiously checked my email since day 1 in hope of making the upper magically appear. Well yesterday, I didn't check my email until after lunch and was surprised to see that it would be delivered by the end of the day. Less than 3 hours later, the package was in my hands (it worked out nicely, since I preferred the shorter wait time once I knew it was on its way). PSA received my order on 4/20/2012, so it technically took 9 business days to ship. I actually put in the order late on the night of 4/19, so in reality I got my upper 14 calendar days from the day I ordered it. However, a word of caution for those that think my experience is/should be the norm: I ordered the Mid length Madness special the night it was posted, so I didn't have to worry about the added complication of waiting on a BCG and charging handle & my order had to have been close to the top of the sales special orders. Also, my shipping wait was very short because I'm only a few hours away from PSA.
While I haven't had a chance to shoot with the upper yet, the visual and physical inspection looked great. It also mates perfectly with my PSA lower. As a side note, my upper receiver did have a small PSA logo on it, which I was not expecting from the Madness special (but I'm certainly not complaining about it!). I can't wait to get it out and break it in. |

And I was also pleasantly surprised by the PSA logo on the upper receiver when it was listed as being unmarked. And it also matches up perfectly with the Gadsen flag lower I picked up from them the other day, |

My uppers were at my door within 12-15 days, but one of them arrived 1 week before I received tracking information. So after I received the upper about a week later I received an email saying it was being shipped.
As for non built parts, it took 2 days. Great Customer Service... |

Have to say PSA has made some big improvements to their shipping info tools since my first flurry of orders almost a year ago. Checking account info is a breeze. They email you promptly when order is made. Big improvement from the early days. Being able to check status is nice too.
In the past the few times I've called, somebody has answered. The other times I contacted them was on their site email. They said they would get back in two days and they did. Now I can find out what I want to know by checking my account. Ordered a 16" CHF middy w/o BCG on 5/5 and got tracking number today. Same old boring, reliable, service just like all my other orders. Yawn. Saturday I was looking for the Magpul OD stock, handguard, grip, trigger guard, and some other stuff. First tried BCM. They did have a BCG but nothing else. Didn't dawn on me to try PSA. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the stuff I was seeking in one place. And free shipping to boot. Edit- (SP) |

gotta be honest. Don't understand the rhyme or reason for shipping. People who order same things getting drastically different times. I have also ordered a 16 middy maddness in mid april and just yesterday got the shipping label created. No info on shipping time or that it was even picked up. There are people who order much later and have recieved theirs. Strange.
I did get my MOE lower build kit last week, but they put a standard grip, stock and handguard in the MOE box. And wrong color to boot. Still havent gotten the replacement for that yet. |
