I hope that someone can shed some light on what this profile may be. I have been unable to get through to them. Is the diameter .750 at the gas block? I want to put a YHM flip-up gas block on instead. Any comments on this particular barrel? Thanks.

Yes, it is .750 at the gas block. Here is a picture of the 14.7 CHF LW Midlength.

My stupidity is about to revel itself right now about forging process. On the web site it says hammer forged barrel , same as cold hammer forged?

Yes, it is also known as cold hammer forging.

Thanks! Ordered complete upper and barrel and some other goodies today. The count down begins ! Has the issue of canted fsb been fixed, if it was ever a prob I don't believe mutch of what I hear on the web? But, things do happen, good ol' Murphy there to keep you on your toes!!
