Really looking forward to these.
If I could get an SR25 mag taking .308 in a 16in bbl for $800 built I would be so happy. I may be dreaming.

Nothing really, I just got excited when they said they were were gonna make AR10's that could take P-mags...then PSA anounced their offering. I just want someone to get moving on this or I'm gonna end up buying another OBR. ![]() |

i too am interested in these. If the price is reasonable enough i will take 2 of them on launch.
I agree.. the whole preorder would be cool too. I like my low sn PSA-15's a ton.. so i'd love ot have low sns of these too. :) |

In on this too....I'm waiting on an upper from psa right now but I had plans to build an mk12 clone in the next few months. Now I might skip that and build something similar but with these new psa parts.....I'm down for a preorder

Thanks for the info. makes me even more excited to get a .308 lower :) The difference isn't a dangerous pressure difference like 5.56/223 though. It's more in relation to case sizing. I'd do some searching for more details because I only know of it due to a buddy who refused to let me shoot 308 through his G3 as he had issues with it at one time. Some people say it doesn't matter, others will tell you the opposite. My theory is CYA. |

wise words. i would think that shoot 308 out of a 308 lower at all times, except in a "emergency" lol then if you have 7.62 nato shooting it is better than shooting nothing.

They have different wall-thicknesses, as well as different chamber/muzzle pressure based on their powder loads. Oddly enough, the NATO load is the lighter load. Long story short though, Palmetto has already stated it will be DMPS 308 format - It will shoot both. |
