Budget build in progress. Upper, lower, and lpk are PSA. Temporary sling and optics. Widefield is borrowed from my Howa 1500 while I wait for the PA 3X scope to return to stock, and waiting on a MVG and a TRS-25 to come in to try on the 45 degree mount. |

PSA M249 steel barrel Dissipator upper (undissipated). Samson 15" EVO. Optisan Mamba 1-4x24 (temporary). Magpul STR, MBUS, MOE trigger guard, and MOE+ grip. Next to be added. BCM charging handle. Magpul RVG. Undecided on optic. Undecided on sling. Battlecomp. Magpul BAD Lever. Inforce light. It started out as a KISS budget build. I love the look of dissipators but for the second time couldn't get over my dislike of the standard FSB and optic obstruction. I found the 15" EVO at a price I liked and it covered the holes in the barrel where the FSB was. Loaded weight is just a few ounces short of 9 pounds and my goal was to keep it under 10 at ready so I'm happy for now. |

PSA lower with a very low serial number under 500 PSA lower parts kit and stock kit with PSA H2 buffer PSA 20 CHF upper MOE grip and handguard Vltor IMOD stock Larue LT104 with Nikon M223 2-8 BCM medium charging handle I have several PSA lowers but currently the others dont have uppers as I sold a couple to fund a Larue PredatAR. |

Question: does the FSB interfere with the view through your scope?

On the higher power you dont see it. It is noticeable somewhat on lower power but not blocking you view. Not a problem. I just got the scope, it is for the PredatAR when it gets here. I shoot this rifle with irons mostly.

BCM forged CH and BCG. EE score - Beat RAS Buttstock mag pouch on the way. Need to buy a sling, vfg, and rail covers to finish her.  PSA 20" marked upper.

Finally got her where I want her. Mid-length "Lightweight" (Mid-weight) CHF barrel. Turned out pretty good, I'd say. Please forgive the wife's Independence Day motif for the dining room table:

gaadsden - incomplete. Needs Magpul flip up fde front and rear, sling, better optics, rail covers, and FVG in FDE. Otherwise its a PSA Gadsden lower, PSA LPK, Magpul FDE Grip, Pmag, CTR Stock, PSA Carbine buffer and tube, upper, Midwest Spectre length rail, Daniel Defense 1/7 barrel with a yhm flash hider. |
