and after talking to my gunsmith he made the comment that he hoped I didn't show as it was one of the best lowers he had ever seen and he wouldn't mind keeping it for himself. He had ordered two, one for me and one for a co-worker of mine and the co-worker made the comment that the finish on his was gorgeous. I haven't seen it yet, but can't wait to mate it with one of my stainless barreled uppers and try it out at the range next week on my vacation (one of which is a DPMS, the other a Rock River arms). I better pick it up in the morning as the gunsmith just might decide to keep it otherwise. People talk so much smack here against some companies, but for the most part, I find all of the companies I have dealt with putting out a great product, though some fine tuning is sometimes needed. The gunsmith wondered if Ruger was doing the forgings as he felt they were the finest he has seen and as a competitive ranked shooter he has seen a lot.
