I would not buy it if it's not in very good cosmetic condition...900 at most.

People really need to read. He clearly posted that it is in very good condition.
Anyway, break down of value in parts:
Lower receiver, in fair condition or better, in ban states: $750+++ A nice condition lower with strong roll marks lower will bring more.
Barrel: $200+++
Upper receiver: $150-$250 (depending of type)
Small pad port door: $50
Tear drop or large button forward assist (if equipped): $25-$40
2 position receiver extension ("buffer tube) with castle nut (as long as you don't fun it up during disassembly) $100 +/-
Round buffer with spring: $50+
Fiber-lite stock: $75 +/-
Handguard: $60 +/-
BCG: $75
Charging handle: $20+
If the gun is in very good condition as stated, it is worth AT LEAST $1400 in parts…. that said, it would be a shame to tear apart a green label gun in nice condition. I have a few nice examples (601, 604 and A2 receivers). They are handy little rifles and lot of fun to shoot… they always seem to get attention at the range as well. $1000 for a VG condition pre ban carbine is a great deal… they are COOL, and don't fall into your lap for that price.
That said, it is important to do a little research and make sure the parts on the rifle are original. There are tons of used green label guns offered for sale with original parts swapped out (like furniture, port doors, receiver extensions, and buffers).
