Well first things first, are you building a Mk18 or a CQBR? Mod0's are cut down M4 uppers, they'd be identifiable by early 2000's date codes and non stamped "C" uppers. Most of ours were Diemaco or Anchor Harvey uppers. As far as CQBR uppers go, you may want to visit the forums for that info, I'm not sure when those came online: before or after the Mk18 program? Also, for almost a decade now, Mk18's rock a standard 14.5" M4 barrel with an A2 flash hider.

Well, learn something new everyday I guess. I didn't know that the CQBR and MK18 Mod 0 were different systems.
Ok. Basically what I want is a 10.3 inch or whatever was standard, FFP upper type build. I think I'm safe in assuming that the MK18 Mod 0 was at least at one time around that length and not a 14.5. And I know the CQBR is that length.
Basically, I want the classic MK18. Aimpoint Comp M2 in a Wilcox, Knights rail, Knights NT4, etc.
Now I don't know what's correct anymore for that sort of build. I thought it was just throw a Colt 10.3 inch FFP upper on a Colt or LMT lower, throw the rail and the Aimpoint on, and you were pretty close.
