Your number doesn't make much sense, are you sure that you don't have one to many x?
I do not have a license to kill, but I do have a learner's permit.

I believe it is an 84 or 85

The SP1 carbine like yours was produced from 1977-1985. The actual model number is R6001.

ETA: By the way, it looks to be in great shape. How much you want for it?!?!

Not selling this one,........had a few SP1s, have always been looking for a nice carbine.

Ok,.....called Colt, it's a 1983 factory SP1 carbine, original condition.
I would say 98%.......MINT! Doubt it's had more than a few thousand
rounds fired. Five preban mags included.
Internals are mint,

Sweet rifle! I really like that stock and handguard combo. The whole setup reminds me of the Nam-era CAR15, one of my all-time favorites.

My phone isnt loading the pictures in the retro forum but did the scale say just over 5lbs? Thats odd considering the 6720 list at 6.14lbs empty and doesnt have the carry handle and aluminum stock.... What am I missing?
