I've been waiting for a built lower for about 13 weeks. Now I knew that the wait time was long but.
I ordered this thru a dealer friend of mine, he was told it would take 12 to 16 weeks to ship. Called him and ask if he can call Spikes to see if it was still on time. Bad news is Spikes told him it will be another 6 mo. as of 6/29 Now this is nothing fancy just a plain Jane spider lower. What gives? |

Placed my order for a stripped lower on 4/9- dealer keeps telling me 'another 2 weeks'. At this point, I don't think even the dealers are getting accurate info. I read on Spike's website forum that someone was told to wait 9 months for a complete rifle. I was aware of the backorder when I ordered, and I was told 3-4 months. Going into the 3rd month, I don't expect to hear any good news next time I visit the dealer. I think it is past time for someone from Spike's to address this issue and bring some current information to the table. The last date that Spike's updated this info was back in Feb. I can understand if they can't give me a precise day of shipment, but if my order wait time goes from 4 months to 9 months, and nobody says anything, it will only hurt their business in the long run.

My dealer has striped lowers in stock but, no Spike's LPK's
The one I ordered is a Spike's built lower w / m4 stock. If he had all the parts I'd snatch them up and assemble the thing. Parts shortages are the reason I ordered a complete lower in the first place. Looks like I chose poorly |

UPDATE: Just picked up my Spikes lower on 8/1- just shy of 4 months. Dealer said Spikes is backlogged for a year.
