I have one of the earlyer made Teds Gunsmithing lowers like the one first put out with the spider.Anybody want to trade a newer one for it?Mine is in great shape.

FNG here. I had no idea that one company uses so many lowers suppliers.
I ordered a complete lower last week. I wonder if I get the billet model? I'm brand new at this AR platform and I picked Spike because of the good feedback from the people on this fora. I was pleasantly surprised with a 2-4 week turnaround time from A.J. I bought a POF upper last month that will make a good match with a Spike. |

Probably a stupid question, but what exactly do you mean by low and high shelf?

A low shelf lower receiver allows you to install a DIAS (Drop In Auto Sear) where your safety lever control is at. You know...for the happy switch.
