Disregard the above images folks, I seem to have forgotten to order the trigger guard. How embarrassing.

It's a 7.5" barrel with Spikes STAB device tucked under a CASV-M mounted on a Vltor MUR-1A.

They shipped late, so they arrived after the primary shoot date. However, that doesn't end up being a big deal as we have to shoot on at least one or more times. I had thought we would be able to get everything done in one day, but it appears I was overly optimistic on that one.

I have taken the 16" upper out and put exactly 100 rounds through it, no issues at all, felt recoil was good with the brake. The main thing I wanted to see when I was shooting was if it ran reliably, and the early answer is yes. I'll be able to give a better assessment of it as our group of shooters get more trigger time, and after we get it nice and hot.

So far, so good.

The upper is spikes.
LW 10" 300BLK barrel
9" BAR rail
NIB bcg

This thing has about 400 rounds of 2 different supersonic and 220. PNW subsonics through it without a problem.

My Youth Build / Zombie ARpocalypse project I did with my 8 year old. Once he shows proficiency with the irons, I have a FG MBUS rear sight and mini red dot. He doesn't need extra rails right now for flashlights, etc. Spike's Midlength LW 16" upper with Vortex, ST2 buffer, Troy/VTAC 9" Alpha Rail. I have since picked up a FG MBUS rear sight and a TRS25 red dot + riser to lighten things up...but I want him to learn to use the stock irons first. Nice LW package and handles great! I let him spec the stock (Mil-spec M4 with a CAA saddle I had laying around, painted Rustoleum Self Etching Pintura base primer), grip, handguard and colors and he participated in the build. It'll do 1.5" groups at 100 yds with the irons and handloaded 55 gr practice ammo.

Minor update, we put a bunch of rounds through them this weekend while working on a series of articles. They shot VERY nicely, no malfunctions of any kind, including FA or suppressed fire.

I didn't catch it in the first picture, should have, but what length barrel and what length gas system? Gas system
looks very short, I assume it's to provide a longer dwell time? Very nice!

I can see where you're coming from, 'cause I know where you've been and I can see where you're going 'cause I can see the direction you're headed in. I just don't know where the hell you're at right now.
