I joined the club and page 16 is mine.

I'm still waiting on my tan Larue VTac sling to arrive and Chris Costa to teach me how to run it in Oct.

Need to find where people are getting that QD attachment from for the rear of the receiver. Also has anyone run one with a battle comp? I got one on my AR and think the world of it and consider doing the same with this already flat shooting rifle.

Here's mine with it's latest mod. Cut the barrel down to 14.5 and had a Troy Medieval Flash Suppressor perm. attached.

and without light for better view of barrel.

Nice. Have you had any issues with the EOTech that close to the charging handle?

No. It's actually just out of the way. I would have mounted it further back, but I wanted to be able to use my 3x magnifier.

Just got it a few weeks ago and used it in a night match. I still haven’t decided on which optic to use and I haven’t found a bullet with acceptable groups yet. All I’ve tried is Remington 55gr match because it’s all I had on hand. The groups were pretty week, about 2in at 25 yds. Comparatively I get quarter sized groups at 100yrds with my RRA AR with Green tip penetrators. The optics I’m stuck between are the Eotech 512, Nikon .223, and I’m considering just getting either an ACOG or an Eotech magnifier. I don’t have any experience with the ACOG or the magnifier so I’m worried about field of view, eye relief and adding too much weight. So If anyone wants to weigh in on that that would be cool lol.

Another issue I’ve found that others have also mentioned is the safe selector. But not just the right side, also the overall shape makes it hard to flick on and off. I’m thinking of reshaping it but it would be nice if it was longer. Does anyone make a replacement?

Also does anyone have any pics of an AFG V2 on a basic hand guard? The V1 I have feels pretty bulky and if the V2 could alleviate that I might switch. Either that or is a lower profile rail available? The MOE rail itself is pretty thick.

Over all I love this rifle. It’s my new go to rifle and it stays with my BOB. If I could fix the few small issues, make it a bit lighter, and get a 14.5 in barrel this would be the perfect rifle.

As its configured now

Me and my litte brother after the match with it. It was too dark for action shots so this is as close as I can get for now.

Finally got around to getting my telestock on order, to replace my basic stock.

Will post updated photo once I have it installed.

Hopefully order fulfillment & shipping doesn't take too long.

Keep the great ACR photos coming!

Does anyone have a pic of an ACR with either the SJC Titan or the PRI QC on it? Has anyone used either of these on an ACR?

Here's my "basic" with the new telestock installed, which I just swapped out last night (Bushmaster was pretty quick shipping my order, to their credit).

I can't decide what kind of a VFG I want. I threw this one on for the picture but I might change it to something else.

Also I would like to get another MOE rail section and put a tac light on it.

Running like a bitch in heat. A tad over 9k rounds through it. Major latest changes was a Jenny Craig diet program overall courtesy of Marvin Pitts who performed a cut down to 14.5, pinned a 51T mount and dimpled the whole thing. Running a AAC 762-SDN-6 can on it.

Geat PICS! If you don't mind me asking how much did the barrel work run?

Is that an ATACS cammo pattern on the jacket?

Does the dimpling help reduce heat as well as lighten the barrel?

What is the overall length?

How do you like that can? I was planning on getting the same one and setting my ACR up in a similar fashion.

Thanks.

Total and details below, per Marvin's email:

" Dimple barrels I charge 150.00 for the area behind the gas block
for the area in front of the gasblock: 10-12" +25.00
I will sandblast the barrel for free, parkerize is: 25.00
cut-down re-thread and re-crown ACR barrels: 100.00 I can also re-barrel ACR barrels please ask for a specific quote
Permanently attach your muzzle device for a legal 16" barrel: 45.00 "

I paid 345 total for the work

Yes. It is an EOTAC Direct Action Line Recce Jacket. I have two full sets and at that price, can't be beat. Extremely well built.

Does the dimpling help reduce heat as well as lighten the barrel?

Supposedly. All in all the shortening along with dimpling has a definite feel in being lightened and handles MUCH better then the original barrel.

What is the overall length?

A legal 16 inch.

How do you like that can? I was planning on getting the same one and setting my ACR up in a similar fashion.

Love it. A multi can is the way to go and the AAC 762-SDN-6 is an amazing can in my opinion.

Thanks.

Nice rifle and some cool pics.
Who did all your barrel work?
ETA: Just noticed you had some specs up top, I must have missed them staring at your badass ACR.
Do you recommend them for barrel work? I'm thinking about chopping my ACR down, I was thinking to SBR it but yours looks good and a lot shorter than the stock configuration.

Also do you recommend the Impact Sports ear muffs? I've been look at them.
