I run a Viper 6.5-20x50 on my rifle, and I use your flip caps on both ends of it. I also bought a honeycomb for the objective lens, however when you put the honeycomb in, the objective lens flip cap doesn't fit properly. When you try to close it with the honeycomb, it doesn't "snap" shut when the cap is pushed snugly on. In order to get it to close, you have to back off the cap slightly to get it to snap shut. This is a problem because when the cap is backed off, it doesn't hold the honeycomb perfectly perpendicular to the LOS, causing a degradation of the sight picture.
I don't know if I am installing the honeycomb improperly, or if I got a dud, or what, because the honeycomb doesn't screw in like many other honeycombs I have seen and used. There are no threads at all, it has to be held in place by the flip caps, and the flip caps don't work when snugly put on.
