UPDATE - I got the optic yesterday - so far I am VERY impressed with the clarity. I cant wait to mount it and give it a try.
Another question - I am going to be using this scope, for now, as testing the waters (so to speak) for long range shooting. Having never ever done this, let alone owned a bolt action rifle, this is all foreign language to me. I realize the diamondback is not, per se, a 'long range" scope, but for now it will be for me.
Here's the question - do you find you get better accuracy with 1 or 2 piece bases, and is there enough adjustment in this scope to still initially zero it at 100 yards with a 20 moa base? I figure i will want one eventually anyway, and if i am going to have to bed the base anyway, why not just do it right the first time? unless this will not work with this scope. also, medium rings should be about right for this?
