7-10 business days is the average turnaround time. This time of year might be just a touch busier though. If you'd like, email me your name and contact info and I can get back to you and let you know what's going on with it. Thanks! - Jimmy ([email protected])

I sent you guys mine today. Got it yesterday and when I turn on the illumination several imperfections that appear to be scratches are visible and block the field of view. They aren't present without illumination, but I can't see the center dot of the viper pst 1x4 without illumination, at the time of day I'll be hunting. Hope to get it back before deer season is over.

My Diamond back 2-7x35 failed today at the range after 1 round. Fired it, lens went blurry. Thought I may have breathed on it or something, it was cold out. Let it sit a minute, no dice. Unloaded the rifle and looked down the front of the tube and one of the lenses was laying loose on it's side inside the scope. Looks like I'll be sending it in for repair either tomorrow or next week.
I was just glad I took a bunch of rifles since it was over an hour drive to get to the range. |

I have a viper hs that won't hold a group smaller than 10 inches at 100 yards. My remington 700 was shooting sub moa until I slipped and fell during deer season. Bashed the scope on some rocks real good. How does the warranty work?
Thanks in advance! |

Vortex,
My Diamonback HP came with a set of lens caps but there are no lenses. That sort of means they're ineffective. It's not a problem for me as I wasn't going to use them anyway. I'm just giving you a heads up in case anyone else complained and it seemed odd. |

Quick warranty question: I just received a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 scope I purchased on the EE as "used, but like-new". However, when I took it out of the box to play with, the wind age turret is anxiously canted or cocked, so much that I can't turn it at all. There is a mark on the turret where it was obviously dropped or hit. I understand I have an issue with the seller for not delivering the scope in the condition as described but I am curious, is this something Vortex covers under their warranty? I really like the scope; I currently have a PST 2.5-10x44 on another rifle and love it. Thanks.

Wanted to drop some positive feedback for Vortex real quick. I called to order some replacement parts (not damaged or faulty just needed some OEM pieces replaced) yesterday. First of all reaching a live person on the phone with Vortex customer service who could actually help me (and spoke English well) was extremely fast and easy. Not only did they get me taken care of but they sent my replacement parts to me free of charge even after I insisted I pay for the items. No bullshit, no problems, no cranky customer service reps, just a nice guy taking care of a customer. It certainly made my day! Thanks for making quality products and going the extra mile for your customers!!!

I've had my like new SPARC for under two years and it was absolutely trouble free until yesterday. While turning it off by holding down the on/off button until the dot goes out, as soon as I remove my finger from the button the dot reappears. The only way to turn it off is by removing the battery.
I have the posted number for customer service and will give them a call tomorrow. |

Generally, when we hear that, it is solved by just replacing the battery. At 2 years, you're probably due for a new one. If it were me, I would try a new battery and if that works (and it probably will), awesome. If that doesn't work, please let us know. Customer care would be more than happy to get it in for a look.

View Quote I have a dozen of the original SPARCs. Will agree the battery is usually the culprit. Just had to send one back that kept cutting off, then wouldn't come back on. As an example of the warranty turnaround, it just got back today. They had it ~72 hours. |

I'd like to give some feedback on an issue I had with my new vortex scope.
I contacted vortex via email about my issue and received a response almost immediately that they would take a look at the scope. After shipping it back to them they had a new scope in the mail in about 24 hours. The new scope works flawlessly and I couldn't be happier. Thanks vortex for the excellent warranty and special thanks to Colleen for outstanding customer service. |

Quick turn around for me. After waiting for weeks and weeks and then being told to expect to wait several more weeks for my order from O.P. I canceled and ordered the Venom through Amazon. Got it last Sunday and it wouldn't turn on. Monday I call and got a label, sent it out Tues, got an email Thurs saying it was received and Friday another email saying a package is on the way back to me. Probably a new one.

My old strikefire 1 started having switch issues after many years of hard use. The switch housing was almost worn through from use.
Sent it back to vortex and had a new strikefire 2 within a week. Now that's service! The strikefire lasted longer than some of my eotechs fyi. Keep up the good work vortex! |

@vortexoptics I'm considering buying a second razor 1-6 used. It has a noticeable dent on the end of the tube near the objective lens. The lens and function is unaffected.
Since it doesn't really affect function, is this something that it could be sent in for? Could that even be fixed? |

The dot on my 2+ year old Strikefire wouldn't turn off when the rifle slid out of the safe onto the floor at home. Tried a new battery, still wouldn't turn off, so I sent it in. Tracking showed it arrived at Vortex on Friday and was in my hands the next Friday. Switch replaced, lens cleaned and a new battery installed.
Was able to take it to the range yesterday to zero it. Optic works fine, but disappointed that the new switch didn't help my shooting. I will be in the market for a new scope in the fall and a Vortex is definitely under consideration. Thank you. |
