Can anyone confirm what bolt carrier or bolt setup is required to use the ASA side charger upper?

Thanks,

It uses a standard AR /M16 or 9mm carrier, but a small notch is
machined into the side to catch the side lever ,,,

Got one, installed it, works great.

Using it on a 300 Fireball upper that when I get a can I plan on using one of the Noveske switchable gas blocks so I can go single shot as desired. The side charge is a nice setup. I like it better than the handle screwed into the carrier with a gash cut into the upper.

Just ordered my side-charging upper.

Just to let you all know:

It comes with a stripped, modified bolt carrier.

You can add a complete bolt, staked, to it for a few bucks more.

There are no M4 feedramps cut into the upper.

I should have mine in 2 weeks.

I am planning on using it for a .300 Fireball upper, which will be nice when you consider that some of the heavy bullet subsonic loads may not cycle the action with a suppressor, so I'd like to have the option of the charging handle being easier to operate.
