have wanted one of these for a long time, but the bad press they have gotten has always steered me away. Is there any way to get the bore checked as well as the sights for cant?

Although I'm unsure of a way to check for issues, I do know that my century tantal has performed flawlessly for at least 4 tins of ammo.
