Mark, do we in the second group get blessed with an FDE LT840 in the swag like the first 125? That may determine whether or not to get the 845.

Does the .260 barrel cartridge come with a TranQuilo brake mounted on it?

Mark,
Thanks for the deals. I was really on the fence about ordering a Tranquilo. This made it a no brainer Now what's the easiest way to transfer it to me via a trust? Can we use the silencer shop kiosks? And I guess I 'needed' the extra barrel and stock Thanks for destroying my credit card! |

I'd rather it be sitting at my local FFL when HPA passes, shorter drive!

(Rem barrel and Tranquillo looking particularly impossible to resist) Sorry if this has been brought up previously, I can't seem to find the answer. This isn't the t'OBR, so the barrel swapping isn't something that can be done in the field- have you addressed any questions regarding folks who want to swap to a 260 Rem barrel, but don't want to take a chance with local smiths bubba-ing their rifle, or, folks like me that aren't comfortable taking apart your upper receiver themselves? |

It's four screws instead of two latches. Piece of cake. |

Should I be worried if I got in the order for a rifle yesterday but have not received the email about the extras?

I have both a tOBR and an FDE heavy. ~1 minute to pull the barrel on the tOBR vs ~3 minutes on the FDE heavy, only difference is the tOBR came with the barrel wrench.
Note on the handguard bolts on the FDE Heavy, just don't go mongo on them when tightening them up. |
What ever happened to the UDE CTR? Looking at the RISR and CTR color choices made me wonder.
So it sounds like the barrel cartridge for the FDE Heavy 7.62 is identical or substantially similar to the barrel cartridge for the t'OBR- and must use a t'OBR barrel nut and t'OBR nut wrench in order to swap out so quickly?
is this different from the regular ol' PredatAR 7.62? |
Yes, and Yes. The barrel nut for the FDE Heavy is the OBR barrel nut which is different than the standard Predatar. You can find some more detail about it in the original FDE Heavy thread.

Is LT still doing the Valet pickup at the shop on TranQuilo purchases?

All of my LT 7.62 and 5.56 rifles have 16" barrels. Is there a great benefit to go with a 22" over the 18". I usually hunt with my rifles. But, I do enjoy reloading and shrinking my groups. This rifle, with the .260 barrel will be something different. |

So to clarify on the 260 barrel - I can order 2 of these with one being for this FDE Heavy I just bought as well as another for my existing PredatOBR correct?

Mark,
Thanks for including those of us from the first group of FDE Heavies. When I landed in SFO the email was waiting. I ordered a 22" .260 barrel on the cab ride to the hotel. It felt great to buy gun parts while sitting in Kalifornistan. Merica! Thank you sir for all the great gear, Fr8dog |

Does the bcg, need to be replaced? 2) can this be used on the predatOBR? Is this interchangeable between predatOBR and FDE heavy? |
