I'm not a benchrest shooter, a load that shoots .5s or .6s is fine for me, and the additional time and expense it would take to "potentially" squeeze another one or two tenths out of a load isn't worth it to me. Most of the time I'm working with mag length restrictions anyways which would prohibit me from getting anywhere close to the lands. I tried loading longer with the Bergers, not to chase the lands but to get a bit more powder because I do have some room left if I use KAC or LaRue mags, but I was getting significant bullet set-back upon chambering with the longer loads. This length is the longest I can load without having the bullets get pushed back upon chambering View Quote |

I will try to get my ass flatter and see what happens. |

Also line up directly behind the gun. Right hand, the gun lines up basically close to the right leg(angularly). |

Might be saying goodbye to the OBR. There are some pricey things I want/need for the .260 when I start reloading for it. It'll be worth it.....or at least I keep telling myself that.

Has anyone used RL17 with their reloads? I've heard good things about velocity potential with it but I can't seem to find a good starting load on the internets especially with a gas gun. Shooting 130gr ELD bullets with Hornady brass and Winchester large rifle primers.
