A friend of mine has an POBR on order in San Diego and mentioned that Larue customer service was considering possibly bumping CA orders to the front of the line to beat the new law's deadline. I am mostly responsible for his purchase of two Larue rifles, two triggers, and other stuff. His wife will probably shoot me on sight, the next time I am within range. I did a quick look and didn't see a thread about it. I encourage this consideration, and think that you may have done this in the past, however I am not waiting in line for a rifle. I am just throwing this out there for comments from those who may have rifles on order that would be willing to sidestep to help out their California brethren, as they take their final gasps of air with black rifle freedom. |

Well, if it helps...
I purchased a PredatOBR 7.62 18" on 7-8-16, and it arrived exactly 11 weeks later to my local FFL. I call that a win and ahead of my expectations and idea of when it would ship. Seems the kind folks at LT HQ are indeed doing what they can. A.W.D. |

i would gladly help any of those who want to leave that fucked up state as i did many years ago.
if they don't want to leave, i can't help them. |

I would think they would stick with their normal order process.i think all bumping people's orders to the front would just piss off the other people with orders in.next all the first 260's would need to go to California ?. I hope your buddy gets his gun but not at the expense of anyone else waiting longer.

Im in CA. I ordered a 7.62 TOBR 18" on 7/15 and I learned it shipped today (9/27) Only 9 weeks from GTG. They told me 4 months minimum. I am surprised they didn't call me to confirm before charging my card like they said they would but I am very happy! Will post pics. I REALLY hope its true they are helping us out in CA. In the last 2 weeks I picked up this TOBR and a Costa rifle new off someone on Calguns

I called last week and was told im under 10th in line (556tobr), it hasn't been as bad as i thought it would be... and i won a barrel to tide me over, so if Mark said its best... But i hate ca. & they are behind enemy lines.
I can see both sides |

I'm hoping Mark can get the 260 tOBR out by the end of the year. If not, at least send me the lower. Don't want to be put in front of the line, but if all else fails, I'll just pick up a 260 barrell whenever available.

Buy it when you can afford it, not when you have to have it, vote, move, etc. Mark did a huge push to get lowers out to people ahead of a possible ban and the resulting bitching about how long it took to complete the rifles or how much he charged I'm sure turned him off to a lot of the "hook ups" he might otherwise do. But I'm not Mark so who knows. |

Should have put an order in for a tOBR as soon as the bill was passed if it was that important. Sparrels will be available at some point. ETA: Or buy a tOBR online. |
