Spoke with Sandy last week and asked if they could chamber the barrel, fit the extension, then turn the extension to fit the tOBR while matching the bolt, answer was they don't do that. I can only go by what they tell me. |

Maybe that was the deal breaker. |

Maybe share the douche's info so no one else gets screwed and maybe info can be found out that may help the process of getting your upper back.

I'm working with the other sight to see if we can do anything. Once that happens, I'll probably figure out a post that is CoC compliant. |

Had something like that happen to me about 30 years ago. A neighbor who worked for a body shop was supposed to polish a dual quad intake manifold, and a set of Corvette valve covers for me. He moved out of the apartment complex and when I went to his job to get my stuff back from him, he had been fired and took all my stuff...... I certainly feel for you!!!!!!!

No recourse with Krieger since he was basically working under their supervision whether they knew it or not? If one of my employees was doing side work through my business and I found out, I'd demand all of his "clients'" info and would contact them to make sure my name wasn't drug through the mud and would repair any damages due to my employe's negligence, then go after said employee to recoup the costs.

|
Man that really sucks! Hopefully you can get it back quickly and with no issues.
|
|
what would really suck is if Mark released a 6.5 cartridge combo today
i feel for ya brother, hope there is some type of resolution in the end |

View Quote Even if Krieger did not "know," what he was doing, their liability was established by allowing their employees to do outside work and/or if anyone on the floor was aware and warned him before he was terminated. Liability is brutal and unfair, and absolutely why we can't have nice things. |

A local G/S did it and I actually paid more to have him tape off the upper rail so that the numbers are still present; it looks great with the grey and the offset of the black rail inserts with white numbers. |

D3, if the stuff doesn't turn up and you find yourself in need of an upper, I would be happy to let you borrow my 18" upper. I haven't shot it since the 260 came in and was wanting to rebarrel it. Don't know which way to go caliber wise because of the extension, but would be happy to send it your way for a while if you'll put it to good use.
I could maybe even cerakote it for you, though that means I'd have to match my lower too, lol. |
|
Damn brother......
Please let me know if I could be of any help! |
