Mark, i love your stuff. I have spent many thousands on your fine products. The swag is awesome too.
I wish, honestly, there was a way to buy the Dillo Dust. It is almost identical to what I make for my ribs, pulled pork and whole hog. However, it's much easier to buy than make and, frankly, I'm getting too lazy to make giant batches of it myself. Can you please, PLEASE figure a way to put the dillo dust on sale? I'd buy that stuff in 5 gallon buckets if I could. Anyway, enjoying the products! Don (Lenexa, Kansas) |

How about a special "dust edition" Dillo that costs $XXX and ships with a free 5 gallon bucket of dust?

I think someone posted before that this Western Style BBQ Seasoning is VERY similar to Dillo Dust if you find yourself in a pinch...

It's has to have something to do with "selling" a food product and fda and all that jazz. If mark gives it away, he is not selling a food product.
In short. Buy more mounts OP!!!! |

I just wish it would have less sugar. Believe it or not, my wife hates it bc it's too sweet.

If you seek to do battle with me this day, you will receive the best that I am capable of giving. It may not be enough, but it will be everything I have to give, and it will be impressive.

As for buying more mounts, I've already got cabinets of extra mounts, ACOGs, T1s, a couple of Vortex and Nightforce setups just sitting without s home. The rifles are the cheap part. The $3000 Nightforce and mounts are the killer. Just got a Nightforce and mount from LaRue to put on a new Ruger Precision Rifle. I just need time to pair the two now. I want another one but I've gotta make the money to pay for it first! In the meantime, I've got to BBQ a bunch of pig at least one weekend a month!!! |

Ha I give away some of my Dillo Dust to friends and family. Or I modify the recipe and add some heat I feel the Dillo Dust is way to mild.

The ingredients are right on the bottle. It is mostly paprika and a lot of sugar and a few other things. I make it a half gallon at a time and top off my bottle with the little Larue bottles when I make an order, keeping a bit of the original with mine. This gives you the opportunity to add less sugar too.
We also have another rub we use that makes chicken like heroin. You can't stop eating it. It is the Herion Chikken rub. (wife didn't know enough about Heroin to spell it right. ) |
