Thank you for the bountiful opportunities! Winning a trigger in 15 is the reason I bought a Larue 7.62 in 2016 too bad I didn't win a barrel, but when I go to build my next AR Larue is the only place I will shop

Mark,
I am curious how many barrels were given away in the end? I am stoked to have won a barrel and just need time and money to finish the build. |

The last few weeks were interesting, as the RNG bounced around picking numbers that were already picked. It took several tries each day....landing on 1 or 2 winners a day. I kept waiting for 1776. Never came up, but would have awarded like 35 winners. Picking numbers each day was a story to itself. We did it each day, no matter where I was, or what I was doing. A notable area was up in West, VA...somewhere in the hills where I was able to barely get signal (walked around with my ipad like a water-deviner, looking for signal). Lots of truck stops, hotels and airports. Going from the RNG to the mnd list, to my spreadsheet, then updating an notifying folks (and keeping it all straight) was a handful on my phone, or ipad...but we made it happen. |

Well, here it is...My first go at building some sort of precision rifle. Kept telling myself I was gonna build a bolt gun next, but then won the barrel, so AR platform it is!
LaRue stuff: - 18" Stealth, M4 ramps (from this giveaway) - Scope mount - Gas block, tube Trigger from other guys that shall not be named in LaRue thread Attached File Can't wait to go see how it shoots, once it stops raining. Huge thanks again to Mark and everyone at LaRue!!! ETA: Had almost zero time to do this, but just HAD to shoot this gun, so after work last Friday I hauled ass out to where I shoot and hurriedly got a target up set up and got busy. Set up at 25yds initially to get a rough sight-in, first shot was on the paper. Shot 3 rounds, made scope adjustment. Shot another 3 rounds, made another adjustment, called it good and moved target out to 100yds. Was fighting the sun setting, but I managed to get one 5 round group off at 100yds, pictured below. Black hills 69gr SMK's. Didn't take any pictures at the range because I was short on time, but tried to simulate MOA All Day challenge setup, so this was shot prone, 100yds, resting on bi-pod and small squeeze bag. Couldn't believe my eyes, this thing will shoot! Can't wait to get back out and do it proper, this thing is definitely going to be on the MOA All Day list. Attached File |

Huge THANK YOU to LARUE for this contest. Thats over $100,000 in barrels to support AR15.COM. Anyone seeing any other AR15 site sponsor even touching what Larue has done?
