It's the dissatisfied voices that are always the loudest, but I for one am perfectly satisfied with the fit and finish of my upper and lower (seen above). I haven't pulled out the calipers or gauges and measured the alignment of upper to lower because I guess it never occurred to me to do so. It fit together (tightly!), passed function tests, and felt great in the hand.
I'm not a fanboy or anything, I'm just a voice in the crowd. But this voice is satisfied. If you aren't satisfied it should be super easy to sell it. For a profit even, I'm guessing. I'm out of the race now because I couldn't justify the $400 case combo, but it'll be interesting to see what is offered next, if anything. |

Stealth with short rail and 12 in barrel in RO. I've had a few things come up that need the $ more than my gun collection. I plan on selling it as dang near a complete rifle that the buyer can put together. I ordered the last day available, so I plan on it being a while. |

If you seek to do battle with me this day, you will receive the best that I am capable of giving. It may not be enough, but it will be everything I have to give, and it will be impressive.

If you demand absolute perfection, cough up the dough and get a tobr for $2400. View Quote Already have coughed up the doe for an OBR 7.62 , great rifle. I was expecting similar quality for the BuildAR in terms of a matching upper and lower. After all that was the reason for getting on on it in the first place. When the mismatched reardon oxide components first appeared, I wasn't bothered, I had ordered a set in black for a friend. Now seeing that the "billet" upper and lowers don't match.....that is disappointing. I would have paid more and so would my bud for a properly matching set. |

View Quote Yah at first glance the pics you posted looked nice, then after seeing the other thread about the mismatch I looked at your pics again and could see where they didn't match. I was expecting better. My BAD LW, 2A Armamemnt and Noveske Gen 3 sets are just as tight but match perfectly and honestly look better. I love my OBR and was talking up Larue to a friend getting into the AR game, I was holding the BuildAR items for him, expecting the wait to be worth it in the end. I guess I'll let him decide to cancel or not. |

All you do is bitch and complain, and surely once you get your order, you're going to complain about that and then something else. It's plain to see your theory is, "The louder I yell the sooner I get it, and it'll be better too since they're forced to appease me!!" It's childish. |

I think a big pile of them got boxed up and shipping is pulling boxes off the top of the pile first...which would have been the last ones filled. 3k is a big pile of boxes.
Just a theory. |

I had actually inquired just this morning via email (before receiving a tracking number) about changing one of mine from M4 to standard ramps, and was told:
"Unfortunately, we can no longer make changes to the Stealth 2.0 orders. We are packing up the orders now to be shipped out. The Shipping Department was kitting these up last week while we were at SHOT show and will be sending these out in the next 1-2 weeks." So it sounds like they're about to start moving. Good luck to all. |

My guess is the blackout barrel's is what was holding everything up
