Did you start with and stay with the heavy spring, or try both and decide the heavy spring was the ticket ? Answering though not asked. I went heavy based on the described trigger pull weights; the lower receiver I used is for a defensive rifle and I prefer the higher weight for that purpose. The 20" scoped Stealth I'm putting together will default to the lighter spring (though I may switch it too after trying it). (And then the BuildAR rifle will need one... in its meticulously built lower...). |

Judging by the numbers mine will be completed Monday. Unfortunately, my card had fraudulent activity yesterday and the bank froze it. I guess I'm going to have to call Larue early Monday morning to try to get it straight ??

I like the Larue target, they provide good contrast for precise hold with the reticle on my Nightforce scope. You can definitely see the physical size difference in the trigger springs. I am just staying with the lighter spring. I installed it last night in my Mega billet matched upper lower ambi receiver set. Still waiting on my SBR tax stamp before I install the Larue 14.5" Stealth barrel. Sorry Mark about going with the Mega Arms stuff, but I always seem to miss out on the stripped lowers releases. The heart of the rifle will be the Larue barrel and activation of the propelling the projectile will be provided buy the MBT. |

Anybody got a link to how to install this? I've done other AR trigger but I'm not sure how to remove the hammer pin that's pre-installed to put it in. Says something about a J pin that retains the hammer pin. I feel stupid. Any help is appreciated.

Punch and hammer to get it out.

It pushes it out far enough so that I could pull it out with my fingers. That is the way I do all my "J" type hook retained triggers. Don't try to push the side of the pin with the hammer spring groove in it through the center, it will just make it more difficult. |
