LOOKING GOOD!

|
Welcome!

[#2]
Received my suppressor a few weeks ago and just had the opportunity to take it out today. The attachment engineering is great! It locked right into place and was solid. I didn't really do any sighting in today, but the point of impact was consistent and repeatable. I got no appreciable blowback as I fired round after round. I did notice that I had to tune the port selector on my OBR to have enough back pressure to cycle the action. Once I had it dialed in, everything ran flawlessly. After I was finished, the suppressor cooled down fairly quickly and was ready to go into the pouch without worrying about it being too hot.

Define "tune the port selector"
I have had a surefire 7.62 ss on my PreditOBR since the first round and I have shot about 750 or so without a single problem.. (Running FGMM every round ) Have been thinking of getting a Tanquilo but don't want to pay and wait only to down grade from a 100% reliable set up.. |

Can you please tell me if there are barrel-length restrictions for the TranQuilo, and in which calibers? |

So i guess a 3.5 inch 338 lapua pistol build will be ok on a Tranquilo.
but realy, thanks again Mark. Can't wait. But I need an M14 version of the brake to mount on my EBR. The adapters just make it messy at the end. 19/32?-32 strange size. Going to have to find something, and the planing starts. Anyone know if there is an adapter on the market that look and works well? |

No offense to the Tranquilo or whoever was asking about minimum barrel length restrictions, but if uber short was my thing, I don't think I would want to run an 8" suppressor on it.

All the concerns in here are covered under the "if you ain't happy, we ain't happy" clause.
If you put the thing on a shorty and there is an issue...you wont be happy, so they in turn wont be happy. Easy day. Now im interested in the quarto...would be super cool |

Come on form 3 . Checking the site hourly to see if has shipped to the FFL. Only been a week and a half. I know two weeks.
|
|
|
[#29]
Came in last week, first day I could get to my FFL.
Filled out paperwork and they are sending off today. First Suppressor. 2nd Stamp but last one was in 2010 9mm AR SBR (man that thing cost me too much back then, could make three 9mm ARs now for the price I paid) |

So first time supresser wannabe. I've done my research and want a TQ or two. But what is the honest wait time? The silencer shop is saying almost a year, then I see guys getting them much quicker. The idea of paying the government 200 for stamp is one thing, the second is the ridicolousness of the wait time. And then the HPA. 400 is to hard to pass up, but full price if the HPA passes is worth the extra cash if I don't wait a year. Guidance?

Principles, without them, what do we have left. Well other than having to wear ear pro! Maybe I'll order one around Xmas and surprise myself with a present next year. |

But even if it does, you'll still be in a better position than if you wait for the cluster-fuck that will begin once Tom, Dick, and Larry realize they can all go buy cans at Academy. Where in Texas are you? I bought my suppressor last week and I've already shot it because there are some Class III shops that allow conjugal visits. That really helps mitigate the blue balls of the wait. |

Well HPA a small step closer. I like to bitch about it too but get the can, Then email the hell out of everyone you're congressman/senator state federal. Speaker of the house, President. You can't bitch if you are not trying to change it. Talked to my state rep at HS football game Friday night. He helped on the bill to clear the way in Texas. So get off your asses and send some email. Not hard. Sorry for the rant, just tired of sitting back and accepting the liberal bull shit. We need a win for once. ....Suppressor virgin here too....
...I ordered my TQ last week and still have to get to the FFL/SOT to get the paperwork sorted out so I'm still in 'compliance' mode right now ....I'm trying to use the Silencer Shop kiosk, stamp and trust system..... ...As for the HPA, I don't have high hopes it'll pass before I get my can, but if I wait until it does pass, the run on suppressors will back up the supply chain to the point that the wait could be even longer IMHO....so I fent....If I get the $200 back, so be it...I'll put that down on a second one...If not, meh, at least I'll be rocking a TQ while others are grumbling about the wait.... |

I did the SS single trust. You got to keep living life. Might be dead before HPA passes but like hell I will fight for it.
I shot a suppressor once like 6 years ago. Main reason I want one is when I teach my girls to shoot. Still NFA pending. |
