TerryC What's the cliff notes for getting a Georgia CCW? View Quote You will need to establish residence in GA. Once you are considered a GA resident, you must get a Georgia Weapons Carry License, any other carry permit you currently have will no longer cover you in state no matter what the reciprocity.. A Georgia resident can only carry in GA with a GWCL. Georgia is a shall-issue state. GWCL applications are taken by the Probate Court in the county where you reside. You will be fingerprinted, and a GBI and FBI background performed. Training or certification is not required. License is issued by the Probate Court and mailed to you after background checks are completed. Costs vary from county to county but generally run between $65 to $75. License is good for five years. Renewals (if applied for before expiration) are about half the cost of the initial application. My last renewal was $35. GWCL allows open or concealed carry. Unlike some states, however, open carry without a GWCL is prohibited except for certain hunting/fishing/private property exemptions. Hope this helps. You should also check out GeorgiaCarry.org. |

Got my saw bar pinched on one of those pines last week. Disconnected the saw, used Dad's saw to cut parallel (about 1/2" to the side) and freed up the tension enough to pull it out.

Snap Ring pliers bought.
Lisle pickle fork set bought. To home I go to tear my truck apart. Hope it goes back together! |

Ohhh fun. More details, how big? How many stories? Yard? Fence? Trees? Pool? I'm sure we can come up with a pretty exhaustive list but we can start of simple: a few quality garden hoses, matching garbage cans, a step ladder and a pressure washer (please for the love of all things small engine get something with a GX in it). Mornin boys. Whats on everyone's agenda for the day?? Gonna fire up the smoker. Doing ribs for tomorrow, and a pork roast for today. And since that's such hard work, I may have to burn up some powder while I'm doing that. What are the Marines up to today? Gonna mow the lawn before the rain, got to figure out this weird cyl 2 mis-fire on the Subaru, going to inject the turkey for tomorrow and dry-rub it (not sure what marinade yet) making a list if all the shit I need/want/desire for the house. I'm pretty excited to get a billet lower I had engraved back on monday. I had it engraved on the trigger guard. Should be pretty cool. Normally I don't care but since it was a Billet and cost a bit more I figured I'd try to keep it more clean What make? Both my billets are Arfcom ones I've got three, one Spartan, and two Larue. |
