SS taking off from a stop. That wasn't that bad really. Slowly let the clutch out and it starts to move. The part that got me was the steering. Being a big bike (for my skinny ass) turning was a bit touchy not knowing how far I can turn it and not fall over. The amount of effort was a fair amount. Didn't struggle with it, I was just not sure how to handle it. As soon as I got moving the bike almost turned its self. I want more time on it, and to get it out of first gear It's counter-intuitive, but the faster you go, the more stable you are. Gyroscopic effect of the wheels If you thought that turned easy, wait til you get on a crotch rocket. They practically turn themselves. On my R1, I could lock the throttle, take my hands off the bars and ride down the highway making turns and lane changes using only the pressure of my feet Psshh, I can steer with my balls |

Looks like the gutter may have twisted a little bit when I was looking at it earlier. I imagine it's a combination of water holding in the sag, and lack of spikes keeping it aligned. Think it'll flex back into shape? Oh, and there's thunderstorms called for for the next few days. Yes. It can roll quite a bit. Is it sagging in the middle of the piece? If so, just re-attaching it will fix it fine as long as it hasn't rolled on an end and creased it. Muggy as all fuck today. That cold ass concrete sweated all day and made it super humid in the shop. Finally had some rain come through a half hour before I got off and cooled it off Even had a tornado watch for this afternoon. Apparently one touched down around Kankakee. Got home and a nice thunder storm rolled through.
