" PredatAR 16" 5.56 reviews "
Reviewed by Anonymous 1 day ago What more can I say than has already been posted all over LaRue's website. LaRue Tactical is one of those companies that I go out of my way to do business with. These guys are absolutely top notch in every single way a company should be. Only the highest precision products with quality second to none, and 100% made in America! Pricing is always competitive, shipping is fast, satisfaction guarantee is unbelievable, and "cutting corners" is nowhere in their vocabulary. Many times there one finds companies that have first rate products that outshine their competition, but the pricing is out of line, often times costing much more than seems plausible, only because the demand of their products is so high that they can charge whatever they want. Not LaRue. Take for example two years ago prior to the Netown incident, PredatAR 5.56 sold for $1,682.00 while brands like Colt's ubiquitous LE6920 sold for around $1,200.00. Anyone that has compared these two items will vouch for the superiority of the LaRue. Now fast forward 6 months later, Colt's product is selling for $2,000 + due to high demand and even the "value brands" like DPMS which sold for $600.00 - $800.00 are selling for $1,600 + and actually hard to find. So let's see....what is LaRue's pricing now that the panic buying is in full frenzy?......$1,682.00? That's right, $1,682.00; not a penny more, not a penny less. So what does this tell me? LaRue refuses to treat their customers like a commodity; public panic purchasing ensues because of a volatile political climate but LaRue refuses to price gouge customers like just about every other maker did. They simply continued taking order while letting customers know that LaRue would fulfill orders as fast as they could while maintaining the stringent quality control for which they are so well known. Two plus years of inflation later, how much is that same rifle today? $1,682.00. And you even get the latest upgrades like their XTRAXN technology; no additional cost, they simply include it as yet another enhancement to their already superior product lines. As long as this company continues it's business and manufacturing practices as they do today, I be a customer for life. And hey, if you don't have to coin to spend for a LaRue right now, I understand; many just don't have the budget. But let me tell you this; if you decide to wait and save up a bit longer to buy a LaRue product, not only will you be glad you did but you will never go back to any other 5.56 or 7.62 AR platform brand. Every single piece of their weapons systems exudes the highest craftsmanship available. They are an astounding testament to what a committed and dedicated group of people can achieve when they set their standards to what seem to most, unattainable levels....and then they even exceed those standards. It leaves one almost breathless and proud to call these men and women American brothers and sisters. If you have never seen a LaRue rifle, do yourself a favor and at least find one to hold, inspect, and study if you want to see the level of craft and precision capable and available in American manufacturing today. I believe it will leave you quite speechless. Kudos LaRue....you all really are THE BEST! View Quote |

Well never all in one paragraph like that but I've said pretty much all of that if that counts
Now if you can just hold off on that price increase you've been threatening just a touch more I've got one more child that doesn't have a tAR...yet |

I can't say that I wrote that.. BUT I can say that I agree with his or her statement 100%

Well deserved praise.
Course, I'm probably a little biased since I have one safe dedicated to just my LT gear but who's counting. |

I also agree with that statement 110%. There were some really fancy adjectives used, so I know it wasn't me. Its been a while since I have wrote a lengthy "Why LaRue is Awesome" post.
I was snooping around the other day trying to find the rant that I went off on when they took the bolt carriers off the website for a week or so. I loved LaRue then, and I love them now. A company that is well deserving of any and all praise. |

My sentiments, if not my words... LT came along for me at a time when I was ensconced in a deep addiction to high end 1911's. An Ed Brown here and a Wilson there with nowhere to turn... Alas, one day as I'm "Rifling" thru a gun mag and low and behold I stumble upon a LT ad with a couple of beautiful PredatARs... Being the curious sort I started a Googlin and a researchin and I see that the new PredatOBR was going to be released... A few days of telling the Boss lady that this was once again the very last gun I'm ever going to need... Sure she says, you work a lot of OT you deserve it... Not being the argumentative type when it comes to me getting cool stuff I agreed, I do deserve a tOBR... 2 + years later and I've got the 762 tOBR, picked up a new 556 OBR 6 months ago and just picked up my latest last gun I'm ever gonna buy last Monday a 556 tOBR... Somehow I just can't imagine these rifles nestled comfortably in my safe without at least ONE tAR...

I didn't because I never leave anonymous comments on goods.
I agree with the sentiment and when I get time to do my review it will sound similar. I have to get time to get that baby tOBR ordered! BigDozer66 |

I have emails from you to review the products I have purchased lately. I am half tempted to just copy and paste this. I am so happy with your products, I am glad I did the research before I bought my first AR. I learned from other people's mistakes.

I did not write it but agree with all of it. In fact, great job expressing it!
BTW Mark, thanks so much for the hot towel! I was afraid when I saw the unexpected package that I had screwed up some of my Christmas shipments and one had arrived at my house instead of the intended recipient so you can imagine how pleased I was to find that those shipments are on track and this was an unexpected bonus! LT is my model company for how customer service should be handled by any company that really cares about their name! Seriously, thank you for reminding everyone that it can be done right and be successful! |

I absolutely agree with that review! Thanks Mark, for kicking ass and taking names.

Did not write it but the formula is simple:
Great Product + Great Customer Service = Satisfied Customers 'nuff said Merry Christmas Mark and the whole LaRue crew! |

I should have a PredatAR in my hands by February...funds pending. I'm sure my review will be similar...

As you all have said, LT gear is top notch. The sense of community is something else that is included with your purchase. Check out the number of posts in the industry section and compare LaRue to any of the other companies. Only about 10K more posts than anyone else; I think that's pretty damn cool.
I took delivery of my LT rifle (16" tAR) at the end of the summer after ordering in Dec 2012. I never thought I'd see it because I figured CA would pass some lame law making it illegal to have after Sandy Hook. So one of the AWESOME things I remember LT doing was ramping up production of lowers so as many customers as possible could have one registered in their name before it was no longer legal. That's a pretty damn cool thing for a company to do, and showed me just how much they care about their "family". Thanks Mark and all the folks at LT for raising the bar. |
