Quoted: Shipped! View Quote Mine hasn't yet, but I think I am a few order numbers after you. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow. I am rather excited at this point though, especially that I actually managed to snag one of the last 125 after failing the first 3 runs! I also ordered a tOBD 16" last week that shows in queue and gun room. I may be lucky enough to get it in a month or so also. -Tony Marek |

Now the big struggle...what to put on it?!? Red dot or variable? Thoughts fellas? Will probably primarily be shot in the 0-200yd range.

"Welcome to the gun room...." (In my best Axl Rose voice)
T1 going on mine with either a LDI DBAL-D2 or ATPIAL-C. Just need to find out what brake LaRue put on it and then I'll pick up another can too (in about 9 months) |

IIRC, it is the gun is is on the assembly bench... Some of mine have been in that status for only a few days before shipping, some have been longer... given the way the costas have been handled in the other releases, probably only a few days... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

It just occurred to me I really don't know what 'Gun Room' status actually means. Thanks! |

My Christmas present to myself. |

Hell of a way to start your Christmas week. I have a feeling everyone's packages under the tree will be disappointing after unwrapping this one

Anybody got a lead where to get the Surefire legacy can for a decent price?
I have the SOCOM cans which won't work on my inbound Costa. |

WTF The original costas shipped with the legacy SF brakes; i.e. the current gen SOCOM cans are incompatible. Not sure what this batch will ship with, but I think that's the context for his question. IMHO, you would be better off cutting the legacy brake off and adding a SOCOM compatible brake, but that's just my .02. |

That's interesting - I took this directly from the SF web site: NOTE: SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach sound suppressors, muzzle brake/suppressor adapters, and flash hider/suppressor adapters are not compatible with previous generation SureFire Fast-Attach sound suppressors, muzzle brakes, or flash hiders. But I have no experience with the current gen cans vs the legacy brakes, so I will defer to the man that does |

Legacy can works on Legacy brake same as always. SOCOM can works on legacy brake by marking it before getting zero or putting it on always writing up, writing down, etc. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Have you run an SRS before? What's the vibe? sea2summit, I've had it about a year and I like it shooting with it. Nice wide view, glass is easy to see through, dot is good even in a strong Texas sun. However, - Price is way too high... - Brightness controls are hard to use... - Tenebraex lens cover (sold separately) must be removed to get access to the battery compartment... I like the look of the Aimpoint T2, and it won't have the issues above! -Rambob |
