Your scope is the VX-1? What exactly is your application? What are your cartridge ballistics?
The VX-1 is a hunting scope. If it's a hunting application, I'd guess you're going to want your optic zeroed at ~250 yards or thereabouts. (The VX-1 doesn't have target/tactical turrets and so I wouldn't think you'd be dialing in elevation after ranging a shot).
With a 250-yard zero, a 175gr SMK (if this is a .308) is going to drop around 80 inches at 600. Somewhere between 12 and 13 MOA. You'll need enough elevation adjustment to do that. Does the VX-1 provide that? If not, you'll need help from the mount.
With a 100-yard zero (unlikely if this is a hunting application), you'll see a bullet drop of around 95 inches at 600. Around 15 MOA. That's what you'd need to account for.
If this is a 5.56, the ballistics will be a little different, but not dramatically.
Double-check how much elevation range you've got in your scope, but I suspect you'll be fine with the LT-104.
