That will work. Since I can't get a real crow to come within about 300 yards of me....

Finally had time to run to the range and try to out shoot the Lowes kid. A close friend, who is a firefighter and loves to reload, came along to see what these LaRue Challenges were all about. It worked out perfect. He got to see what all that hard work was capable of and became an instant LT fan. We of course argued all the way home on if the accuracy was because of the rifle or the ammo. We agreed it was probably a little of both, but I bet he orders a tOBR before long! I couldn't be happier. What a great shooting rifle. Thanks for all the hard work and determination LT! http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/drkvorkian/DSCN3178_zps65cf11a3.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/drkvorkian/DSCN3179_zps406a02bf.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/drkvorkian/DSCN3180_zpsfa5af52c.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg66/drkvorkian/DSCN3181_zpse7b4bf05.jpg View Quote You did that at 200 yards |

Since it was sighted it at 200, it was easier and took less thinking. :-) |

I think that man just earned hisself one o' them there "Out shot the Shooterist" dillios, Mr. LaRue...
EDIT: Him and his fireman friend... |
|
I was never good at math, so to make things simple, I just set that there crow head at or about 200 yards, which is right about where that fancy rifle you built me shoots at and pulled the trigger.
I am sure I could have aimed a bit low and put it at 100 yards, but I was never one for guessing. I like to keep things simple. Point n Shoot. Besides, that is a huge crow head, they arent that big in Idaho,...and like I said, they are always looking at you, so this was gravy. |

Nice shooting Dennis!!
I will try to do some Sunday. Since we don't have crows, I'll just imagine it's a prairie dag head. Looks to be about the same size. |

Not sure what the big deal is, it's not like I hit a target at a thousand yards, took my rifle apart - removed the barrel, and then put it all back again and hit the thousand yard target a few more times. I just shot a crow. Meh, no biggie. |
