Back in 2008 or 2009 I built an AR with an 11" LT handguard, still have it.. I am building an 11.5" SBR and I haven't decided what handguard/rail yet. I want a 10" or 10.5" one that will have a continuous rail (mates with receiver).
I keep going and looking at SBR's with LT handguards and try to talk myself into it, but I really want the continuous rail. My Mega Arms lower for the SBR is complete and I am waiting on my Form 1, if Larue makes a 10" or 10.5" continuous rail M-Lok handguard, I will go that route. |

Yes. I have LaRue rails (a 10" and an 11") on both my rifles, and would love it if LaRue would come up with a 'slim' option that uses the same interface as their current system. Off comes the railed tube. On goes the slim modular tube. I'll buy two the first day they're available. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If given the option of a LaRue rail that uses the same interface with the upper receiver as their current offerings but with the M-Lok system instead of full picatinny rails I would choose that option. And then I would need a host of LaRue mounts in M-Lok fashion to add all my non optic accessories to the new rails, etc. Yes. I have a 14.5" upper with a fixed Surefire brake and LT15-12 rail, and would LOVE to literally unscrew the lock collar on the rail and tighten a slim handguard on. |

? Was hoping to hear more at shot. Especially with that teaser photo from way back. Same here. The bolt rifles they announced are great and all but I really had my hopes up that at shot they would announce they would start selling PredatAR and PredatOBR uppers. I was so disappoint. The way Mark was hinting around I thought for sure spare barrels, lowers, and PredatOBR uppers would be announced at shot. The quadrail stealth uppers, while accurate, just don't appeal to me. If they offered a predatar hand guard on their stealth uppers I would buy one yesterday.. (Actually I take that back. I need something with an adjustable gas block. So I would like to see a them sell PredatOBR uppers) |

Hopefully soon. I do love bolt guns though, interested to find out more about it. |

Where are we on seeing something like this? I hate to suggest messing with excellence, but I'd like to see an update to the Stealth handguard.

I would hope they would make something that I can just remove my existing lt handguard and put a new one on without removing the barrel nut and stripping the upper. Loosen the collar, remove the rail, slide on new rail and tighten collar.

There are other options (e.g. Daniel Defense M4 rail used a notched nut and a matching wrench tool). |
